On the last week of every month, we’re running an OPR Hangout stream over on YouTube, where we showcase upcoming releases, sneak peeks at future content, and have a Q&A session for you to get involved. This is a relaxed stream, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at our creation process whilst chatting a bit and having some fun.

For a long time now, our team has been building the story behind Grimdark Future’s rules and model lines. Very little of this lore has been made public so far, aside from scant introductions put out with the army books and a handful of focused glimpses like the recently released Short Stories and Faction Spot Article.
The release of the Grimdark Future World Book is on the horizon however, and it will be filled with key setting information on everything from Humanity’s arrival in the Sirius sector to planets and life forms found in the mysterious frontiers at the edge of the galaxy.
With the upcoming release fast approaching, we want to take the chance to show you why we’re so excited to finally be able to share all this lore with you!

At the top of post, you'll see some early previews of the what we are working on for May!
In May the Vampiric Undead Skeleton Knights ready their lances and charge in with the Skeleton Commander on Skeletal Steed. Equipped with only the best armor for horse and ridder alike, they're a swift and unstoppable force.
Also in May the High Elf Fleets Stingers and Stinger Noble sneak close to their enemies to deliver swift and accurate strikes from their Stinger Blades, each strike injecting toxins that guarantee they fell their prey.
Please remember that these are early WIP shots of the models and not the final versions of the models.

Not even going to use those scorpions on the table top game, going straight to my DnD campaign, those look like Amazing assassins to set up a plot point.
Looking forward to the Worldbook. Is there one planned for Age of Fantasy? Will there be MyMiniFactory campaigns associated with the releases? If so I DEFINITELY want to participate even if models are offered I already have. OPR support has been the best money I've spent on TT Wargaming in my life and the best bargain in gaming ever. OPR was my first ever Patreon to join in September of 2022 at Tier 2 and I only wish I had discovered it sooner!

God the Scorpion Lord is so goofy and charming in a way that I'm loving. Embracing the theme and going further than the inspiration was the right call
Stingers look great but I really really hope those weird rectangles all over the back of their stingers are being removed because they are going to be an absolute nightmare to paint.
Those are not part of the final model, but are the shapes that are used to cut-out the indents on the various surfaces. The stinger noble screenshot was taken with those surfaces disabled, so you can see the final look there. :)
