So today I have another pose pack for you.

I wish I had a little more time to make more poses. Creating the poses themselves is not the problem. The real time sink is putting the package together, taking screenshots, and all the other little things that come with it.

Maybe in the near future I will ask people if they would like to help by taking pictures for these pose packs. I am currently investing a huge amount of time into improving my animation skills, which is probably pretty obvious. I have created a lot of animations lately and I am really in an animation flow because my head is constantly full of scenes with my characters that I simply want to see for myself.

That is why I spend so much time working on animations and improving my Blender projects. I want to make my characters look even better and deepen my understanding of the whole process.

Because of that, poses have been pushed into the background a little. That is just how it is. You either focus completely on creating pose packs or you dive into animation. Doing both at the same time is always difficult to balance.

The funny thing is that I already have a lot of poses. I just need to put them together into package files. But I never upload them without showing you what you are getting. That is why I need in game screenshots.

It would not really help if I only showed the poses in Blender. Even though the poses are created with my own 3D Blender models, specifically my Sims Blender models, they always look a little different in the game. My Blender characters, especially the male ones, are much taller than the rigs I use to recreate those proportions in game. Because of that I always have to make adjustments.

So the final result in The Sims will always look a little different from my Blender renders.

That is also why I always make two videos. One animation video that I personally want to watch because I love seeing my characters come to life in Blender, and then an example, now usually as a GIF on Patreon, so you can clearly see how everything looks in the game.

Everything always looks better in Blender because that is where it was created. In The Sims there are always little issues that you cannot predict in advance. Sometimes they happen and sometimes they do not. It is basically a wheel of fortune.

So we will see how I handle it.

For today though, there is another pose pack, and I think for my next one I might ask some of the people I work with to help me by creating the preview pictures.

I originally created it for Noxis, Narai, and Kd. You may already recognize some of these poses from a post on my other account. I actually wanted to use them there as well, but I just have not gotten around to it yet.

As I mentioned before, animation has completely pulled me in lately, and honestly I think that is a good thing. After four years, animating has not only become much easier, it has also become much more exciting because I am constantly trying new things.

That is why I genuinely enjoy continuing to improve my skills in that area.

And most of all, I love bringing these little scenarios with my characters to life.
