Respect and Support means a lot 💚

📢 A Message to My Community – Please Read

Hey Friends 💖

I want to take a moment to speak about something that affects not just me, but many creators out there who share their work with love and passion.

As you know, I put a huge amount of time, energy, and dedication into creating poses, animations, for The Sims 4. Each file you download is the result of countless hours of testing, learning, and improving – often late into the night. Many of these creations are shared for free, or released as early access to help support my work just a little.

Unfortunately, there are certain websites that illegally redistribute my content without permission. Some people call it "sharing," but the truth is:

It's copyright infringement and theft of intellectual property.

And it doesn’t just hurt me – it’s something many creators are facing.

⚠️ What many don’t realize:

Using or downloading from these types of sites can also have consequences for users – not just uploaders.

These platforms are not legal. Downloading from them means you are actively participating in copyright violations, even if unintentionally. Platforms like Patreon, Ko-fi, and Gumroad take this seriously – and action can be taken against users if they're found to be involved in redistribution or accessing stolen content.

🛑 Why this matters so much:

Every time content is leaked, creators lose more than just downloads – they lose motivation and trust. Some end up quitting altogether because their work is taken and spread without respect.

And then what?
No more new content, no more creators.

It’s not just about Sims, but about 3D artists in general. Many people are affected and get leaked, even though these are our own works. I don’t only create poses and animations that end up being free after early access, but also scenes, 3D hair, models, and so on — everything I have created with a lot of time and love, which has nothing to do with EA’s rules and is my intellectual property from the very first sketch. And some things have gone way too far. Another well-known 3D artist, @Noir Angelz (a colleague), is facing exactly the same struggles. We are not only Sims content creators, but freelance 3D artists. We create a lot for many different projects, not just Sims.

💌 So here’s my heartfelt request:

  • Please support the artists you love – even a kind comment, like, or follow helps more than you know.

  • Only download from official sources. If you're unsure, just ask me!

  • And if you see anyone reuploading my work or redistributing it illegally, feel free to reach out. Your help means the world.

It means so much to me to create beautiful and creative Pose and Animations for your Sims 4 worlds. Every little feedback, every tag, and every picture you share with me makes me so happy and motivates me to keep going!

Some of you tell me you don’t dare to tag me because you don’t want to spam — but please, feel free to tag me as much as you want! Your posts are a sign for me that my work reaches you and brings joy.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support me respectfully and enjoys my content the right way. Together we can keep this community creative, kind, and alive. ❤️

exactly, exchange of goods is vital to the creative community as much as any labour. which is why i go out of my way to ensure i pay for the valuable products everyone makes T.T people are spoiled and convince each other everything related to the sims is owed to them for free. maybe im being too harsh on the sims community but after seeing a couple of these sharing pages and the conversations that linked to them thats how i feel.

Hello and good day, My name is Michyrou, and I’m a creator at Nova Mods, a small Discord server within the GTA 5 community. We create free custom animations, convert clothing and props — including from The Sims 4 community, always with permission — and have already established some partnerships within that space. We are reaching out to counteract the negative reputation that others may have caused in the past. That’s one of the reasons I’m writing to you directly. We would like to kindly ask if we may convert your props for use in GTA 5 — free of charge and exclusively for our community. Of course, you would be officially credited and linked on our Discord server, and every converted creation would always include proper credits and references to your original work/posts. We’d be very happy about a partnership or general permission to use your mods — but we completely understand if you prefer not to give permission. Thank you for your time and consideration! Best regards, Michyrou Nova Mods

Hi 😊 Thanks for the info, I think it sounds really interesting. I’d love to know more about it, and I’d suggest we could continue talking about it somewhere else. Unfortunately, I can’t message you here, but maybe you could give me a way to contact you, like on Discord or Instagram, or maybe you could DM me on my Instagram or something, so we can talk more about what exactly you want or need, and how we can figure things out together.

That’s so unfair! Especially considering that your content eventually becomes available for free download anyway. I’m sorry that you and other creators have to deal with this. I totally get how frustrating it is — I’ve seen it myself when the number of downloads for my mod on SFS was ten times higher than the number of paid subscribers, even though it was still behind a paywall at the time...

I'm sorry that you have to go through such experiences, it's a shame that many people can't even wait 30 days. :(

I'm sorry that's happening to you.Your not even one of the crazy pay wallers on this platform.Tbh I believe in fair price and giving.I can't promise to donate all the time but I always Check if the money part is fitting for my budget and some creators make me question their prices.but your creations are free and truly appreciate that plus there super freaking amazing. And your way to humble for your skills.Though I'm still new to poses your definitely on my cc list.I think once I get my school check I'll donate to your channel.I only support fair and honest creators like yourself.I agree it's not fair for them to steal ur work or any creators work.

Well, if it were just about poses, it wouldn't be so bad for me personally, but if it's about the other stuff too, then it's really bad, because it has nothing to do with EA's rules—it's my own Blender stuff. But thanks for your kind comment; I'm really happy when new people come along and immediately appreciate it. 😊

Thanks to you and all the creators who, for many of us, make it possible for the creativity of our minds and the stories we come up with to become that other world "reality." For everything you've said, even though I can't always do it due to household budgets, I support you and other creators seasonally. Thank you for your words, and I hope that desire and motivation continue because I'm one of those who uses your creations quite a bit and I value them🫶

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! 💖 I completely understand that not everyone can support financially all the time, and I never expect that. Even just one follow means the world to me. It’s wonderful when people kindly respect the rules we’re allowed to set and patiently wait until after early access. People can also write to me and then we can talk about the situation, anything is possible but everything should remain fair. 😊
