INZOI wants to be too much at once.....

Main criticisms! Many players say that while INZOI is ambitious, it loses its direction. It tries to be realistic, creative, and unique but ends up feeling empty and impersonal. Some argue that it focuses too much on the realistic look, neglecting the vibrancy and personality of the characters.

The interactions are also an issue – they often feel artificial and lifeless. On top of that, the world may seem vast, but it somehow lacks true liveliness. It seems like the developers took on too much, which is why they’re struggling to keep up with everything.

Sims just has that soul and nostalgia that INZOI (still) lacks. Sure, Unreal Engine 5 makes it visually impressive, but if the gameplay feels empty and impersonal, it doesn’t really help. It truly feels like a Korean Instagram/TikTok world, where everything has to be smooth, perfect, and flawless – but in doing so, it loses that charming, quirky, and creative touch that Sims has built over the years.

And yeah, filter aesthetics aren’t real gameplay! It’s almost as if the game is more about appearances than substance, which just gets boring over time. I think many people wanted a real alternative to Sims, but INZOI feels more like a glossy backdrop than a living simulation.

The more I see of INZOI, the worse it gets. It simply wants to be too much at once, but the developers forget what really matters: authenticity, personality, and passion.

I just don't feel that game, it's too much,it is too superficial.

This is not a judgment, just my thoughts and feelings about it, The only thing I judged is the Unreal Engine 5 I can't feel it at all.

What do you all mean? 🤔

I completely agree with you, this game scares me. There's so much, and the graphics are way too realistic. I have no idea why people celebrate it so much, but I love The Sims 4. The cartoon style is iconic and just so much more enjoyable. As an anime fan too, I don't really like the Korean realistic style. Also, the game looks way too complicated to me, the whole gameplay overlay is so weird. I tried it out and paid 40€, but so far the game hasn't appealed to me. 😣 ;___;

Yes, I've heard that from a lot of people too, that it's very confusing, but I'm sure you can get used to it over time. Yes, I really think anime fans have more problems with it. I mean, how do you make a realistic model look like an anime character? It always ends up looking weird. I know the experience with Blender; all my body sculpts are anime-like, and I would never make realistic body sculpts. 😳😄

Yes i i really like the game but i feel it lacks in some areas hopefully they will work on those, its also quite ineffecient gameplay wise regular tasks seem to be quite difficult for the zois to do and travelling is also hard, it def has a ways to go.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who felt this way or saw it that way. I haven't played the game yet and my opinion is based on what I've seen from others playing it. Of course I might change my mind when I play it myself, but I feel the game is empty, impersonal, lifeless and devoid of feeling. It's really beautiful in terms of graphics, but there are some moments when I look at it and it doesn't feel like I'm in a game. I can't explain it, but what I saw of the construction part made me feel like I was in a 3D program used to show a house project to a client... Okay, the game hasn't been completely released yet, but I highly doubt that it will change these specific points so soon. But I don't rule out the possibility that in the future, with all the updates that have already been announced, it will evolve and improve. But right now, at first glance, I see a game that many people find incredible and very surreal, but I feel that many will be disappointed when they actually play it. I completely remove CAZ from this, Zoi's creation is incredible and perfect, I can't disagree with that, I think it's the game's big catch and what attracts the most, but I don't feel like in the game it's EXACTLY like in CAZ, but once again I'll only see that by playing it myself. Still, the Zoi seem to have little personality, their features look like signs and without much depth.

Exactly, that's it! I mean, in the end, everyone should know for themselves what they want to play, but from the feeling I have, I personally can't understand why it's being hyped so much. I know better games. But what bothers me most is the graphics. The developers chose what they considered the best, but if everything else doesn't work out in the end, even that won't save the game. The developers want a lot, but often there's too much, too much in the end. If you know what I mean. Quality is always more important than quantity, and that doesn't apply to graphics. Just saying 😣😌

I get what you're saying 100%, but I don't believe a final judgment should be made on the game until it is fully released. At the end of the day, it is all simply early access meaning there will of course be room for improvements. I believe that in playing/viewing early access games, there needs to be more of an open mindset followed along with constructive criticism so that the game can have a beautiful product at the final release. Considering how Sims 4 originally was, it's already off to a wonderful start in my books. Is there room for improvement? Yes. Intially, I also agreed with the comment mentioning that the characters appear Asian no matter what when I first played the creative studio. However, the second time around I noticed an improvement from that. Granted more work needs to be done, but that improvement on its own is enough for me to have faith in this game. The developers are truly listening which says a lot. All of this to say, I respect your opinion as well as others regarding Inzoi regardless of whether I agree or not, but I truly believe it's worth a chance. Of course I'm not saying buy it if you currently feel this way, I'm just simply saying to be more open to seeing it's progress throughout the early access period up until final release. Then the final judgment can be made about whether it's worth it or not. I've just been seeing a few strongly negative opinions on the game from different creators. Not that many, but still. It seems as if everyone is comparing it to current Sims 4 instead of initial release Sims 4, which one could also debate isn't a fair comparison as Inzoi is entering early access not official release. Granted if you just simply don't believe you'll ever come to like it, it's just simply not your taste which no one has the place to judge.

Yes, that's true. In the end, it could still be something, at least for people who like this kind of realistic graphics. UE5 isn't for me. Apart from that, I keep watching videos about it, but I personally always notice that something is missing. For someone who creates things themselves, this game seems too polished, and that strikes me as very odd. Of course, everyone might see it differently. We'll see. 😄🤔

I haven't played it except the creator they released a few months back. I feel like the graphics were nice but my computer at the time was not capable of processing it in a way that made it look as nice as intended so I think it's a drawback. As much as I love Korean aestethics, the game did look weirdly artificial from the videos I have seen. For all the issues with Sims,I think I will stick with it.

Yes, many people won't be able to play the game at really high graphics for a long time, but the AI functions are also only supposed to work with the latest graphics card technology, for example, the Nvidia 4000 series. But the open world won't work the way the developers intended on low settings either. Personally, I would have preferred fewer graphics settings and more gameplay. EU5 wasn't a good decision in my opinion. A own engine would have been better in any case. 🤔

I get what you say, but in my opinion i can’t judge a game i didn’t play some gamers who got to play don’t say a lot on the game, they just do normal gameplay instead on going on each aspect of the feature, i mean everyone will have their opinion on the game once they play it, for me i don’t really trust streamers/youtubers also game news on a game because each player have their own preference. As for inzoi, so far for me and from what i saw as in CAZ and build mode since i tried it, it lacks a bit especially in build mode, that thing still need development tbh, as for gameplay they still need more to make it more vibrant (from yt videos or streaming videos) it lacks but i could wait for a year to see how and where this game could do since they are still updating some feature, and tbh i like the team since they listen to their players esp in the suggestion box, some features were added due people wanting it which is a good so i could say i’m going to wait for a year to see how the game will go.

Well, that may be true, I can't say, but as a 3D artist myself who also does a lot of things, I can only say that for me, something is missing from this game. Something captivating. And this has nothing to do with the gameplay or any features, well that my feeling 🤔

Fr, plus to high specs the mostly use AI and I wouldn't be surprised if they used it fir their boring animations too. The game isn't diverse and everyone looks Asian regardless of skin. Plus it looks very boring, dull and dead
