No Auto Ask for Advice
Now I know I did a mod where I added an ask for advice privately interaction earlier. This mod is for those with Parenthood and stops your child and teen sims from autonomously bugging their parents for advice! Including at school! Now you can stop those annoying popups asking for advice! YAY!
Updated for patch 1.103 December 22, 2023!
Update 10/08/2025: Mod is acting wonky so I sorta fixed it. Sometimes their queue will show them starting to ask but then it gets dropped and they never get anywhere with asking. So yeah. Idk why they do that, but since it never goes anywhere I figure I will leave it as is for now. So here's the updated file for patch 1.118!
The second file, labeled PhoneAddOn, is in case the first file doesn't nuke it for your saves. It conflicts with any mod that edits the teen and children school files. So idk what mods do that, but keep that in mind. That was the only way I could make sure it was gone. Sorry.
Update 10/10/2025: I think I nuked the showing up and disappearing in the queue issue that it was having. Please redownload!

I was really needing this mod! Thank you so much! Would it be possible to ask you to have a very, very small chance for the popups to appear? Let’s say, about 10% of how often they show up by default, for example. Low key, I don’t think it’s a bad feature, but I always have between 4 and over 6 children/teens, and having ALL of them start asking one after another when I'm trying to play out another situation is definitely frustrating. Thank you so, so much for all the work. <3
Sorry, it might be possible but I do not think I am up to maintaining multiple versions of this mod.
Thank you for a much needed mod. Question- what does the phone add on do? I've read and read your description and not finding answer- course I also haven't had coffee yet so I could well be missing it. x)
Hi so thought I answered this lol, anyways the phone addon just covers the popups you get while the kids are at school!
Thank you so much for restoring my sanity!! This pop-up, and the lack of right answers, was really driving me mad, especially with large families. A much needed mod!

Odd, nothing in the coding has changed and I haven't had any issues. What is going on in your game, are you getting the pop up still?
I hate how there doesn't seem to be a right answer!
