Troubleshooting;
if anyone is having issues with adding my mods and the gear is completely unrendered OR the body has holes. This is tied to the materials folder in the mods or named incorrectly.
Quick fix (Black Gear/Unrendered Textures)
- Open the mod folder
- Open the attire folder and delete the materials folder
- Open Material Editor (found inside the CakeView > Tools folder)
- Drag the attire.mtl into Material Editor, make sure JTML+MTLs (Dual) is ticked up the top (should be purple) and then click save.
- In doing so, this will update the mtl + create a brand new Materials Folder.
- Rebake & the mod should work
Quick fix (Cracks in the basemodel)
- Naming the folders correctly will fix this. If you add a mod in and the folder is named incorrectly, then the basemodel will have holes since its not reading the HPL/Masking for the gear. This only works properly if the names are correct.
Goodluck!

This helped me fix so many mods I installed! Thank you so much, you are the BEST! <3
Do you have like a video I can watch?
Sadly not, its pretty self explanatory tbh. Open the CakeView folder, open the tools folder and open the Material Editor folder and find the .exe. Run it, once its open. Simply go into the attire folder, delete the folder labelled "Materials" and then drag the attire.mtl (sometimes has a few digits on the beginning but that's likely older models) into Material Editor, go up to the top, make sure "JMTL+MTLs (Dual) is ticked and then simply just save it. This way it'll recreate a whole new Materials folder and all you have to do is rebake. If you get confused, let me know and I'll record a video for you!
