Hey guys!
Quick thing before anything else: you all voted Shaun Arroyo the number one nemesis in the whole cast in the CC Compatibility Quiz. He also lands top six on the soulmate list, I don't know what to make of that lol.
Anyway, he's finally said yes to an impromptu interview with Inkspot Magazine!
It's back after a while, featuring questions you all submitted a while back, and I'm genuinely excited about it!
From here on there's a post every Wednesday, with something new in it to read. I spent this past stretch building the whole thing out ahead of time instead of writing it week to week, so it's four finished pieces sitting in the queue right now, ready to go out!

This interview is nineteen pages of Shaun sitting down with me and getting through 58 of your questions. He answered a lot more of them than I thought he was going to, though there are a handful he absolutely refused to touch. Very on brand for our politician in the making!

Jace's college application essay
This is the actual essay Jace turned in to Sugardale when he was seventeen, and I've put the admissions officer's notes on it underneath. If you guys like this one I'd love to turn it into a little series and do admissions essays for a few of the other characters too, because I had way too much fun with it!
Behind the Ink: Blair Anderson
This is me pulling apart how Blair actually got made, including one decision I made while I was drawing her that I didn't think much of at the time, and that ended up creating her whole character and basically everything that happens to her. Its a fun read for anyone curious about the making of one of the game's least understood characters!
Sweetbean turns 20
The Sugardale News sends somebody down to Honeywood to cover Sweetbean's twentieth anniversary, except there isn't an anniversary party and nobody seems to have told Grady it was happening. He gives them an interview anyway...

Juniors and up get the postcard every month. Seniors get the postcard plus one sticker pulled at random from that month's set of three. Dropouts and Alumni get the postcard and all three stickers!
The Game's Progress
Back on it this week! Getting all of this written and scheduled ate up most of my time lately, so now that it's done and sitting in the queue I can get my head back into the actual game.
Quick Note on Tiers
Seniors and up will now get each piece a week before everybody else. Freshman will continue to have access to all currently published lore posts and previews, but moving forward all Inkspot posts and longer form lore posts will be Junior and up!

Omg, it has been two years — since I played the game and saved three LIs for last. I love it. 😻 If it's not too much ask — will the next update (post) talk about which LIs will get an official ending for their routes? Would you say this isn't really a dating simulation but more of a visual novel — where the dating isn't a centre part of the endings? 🥺
Ahhh welcome back!! 😭💕 I'm so happy you're enjoying the game! I'd definitely describe College Craze as a story-driven visual novel with dating sim elements. Romance is a big part of the experience, but there's so much more to MC's story than just who she ends up with! As for the endings, my goal is to give almost every character some kind of resolution if you've pursued them throughout the game. That might be a mention, a little callback, or something more substantial! Naturally, the more prominent and popular love interests will have much more robust conclusions, but I'm doing my best to make sure the choices you've made and relationships you've built don't just disappear into thin air. There's still plenty I want to keep a surprise, though!
