JustSex 0.0.7.0 BETA: updated build (September 26)
A small but important update. The version number stays 0.0.7.0 BETA, so please download the new files and replace the old ones.
Fixed: false alarm from ModGuard (thanks Louis Y)
If you use ModGuard, changing a JustSex setting made it warn that the mod was "attempting to download or run an executable file", and the setting wasn't saved. Nothing harmful was going on: ModGuard mistook the temporary file JustSex writes while saving your settings for a script (its name, justsex_settings.json.tmp, contains ".js"). The file has a new name now, so ModGuard stays quiet and your settings are saved. If you removed JustSex because of that warning, you can safely put it back. And keep using ModGuard, it's a great tool. Thanks to the Louis Y who reported it!

The foundations are solid now, but of course I need your feedback to know if everything really works. From my tests it all seems fine but that's only my game, and your game is not my game.
So please, feel free to test it and tell me about any strange behavior you run into. If something breaks, the most useful thing you can send me is the log file:
Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\justsex.log
Just attach it as it is on Discord, it keeps the last few play sessions and it tells me exactly what happened, which saves me a lot of guessing. Send it on Discord together with a short description of what you were doing when it happened.
And of course back up your save before you install 🤭

JustSex 0.0.7.0 BETA
JustSex enters BETA. Version 0.0.7.0 BETA marks the end of the alpha: every scene flow (solo, couple, on objects, groups up to six, joining a running scene) plus the Approach, the Settings menu and the self-repair are complete and tested in normal play.
Fixed: on object scenes (beds, sofas, windows...), the walk-up proposal could be cancelled by an occupied bathroom on the way, while the same walk on Sim-to-Sim scenes was already protected. Same protection now.
Gooners mode now steps aside when WickedWhims is installed. With WW loaded, the censored mode was putting the nude body on WW's own nude outfit, and WW's penis logic could overwrite it mid-scene. JustSex now detects WW and uses its normal strip instead, so scenes look right without you touching the setting. Without WW, Gooners mode works exactly as before.
Windows are now a place for sex. Click any window and the JustSex menu is there: the PublicShow scenes and the back-handjob animations play right at the glass (10 animations in the current pack).
Fixed the "ghost bed": when a scene moved to an animation the bed (or bathtub/shower) had no part in, the furniture kept playing its previous animation moving on its own and clipping through your Sims until the scene ended. Now it settles back to its normal pose within a second, in every flow (joining a scene, next/previous stages, changing animation).
New: The Approach. Sex doesn't just start anymore your Sim walks up to their partner, flirts with a real pick-up line, gets a flustered "yes", and only then the clothes come off. The whole thing uses genuine game animations (the same ones The Sims 4 plays when Sims flirt and accept a WooHoo), and the scene starts right where the two of them met.
Fixed: after a third Sim joined a scene, cancelling it from one of the participants could show a false "Scene stopped" popup not anymore.
Seated Sims now stand up naturally when a scene starts no more teleport "snap" out of chairs.
Fixed: a bystander sitting at the same table no longer jumps out of their chair when a scene ends nearby.
Smoother scene endings: Sims fade back in faster and pick up their lives right away (yes, sometimes with a post-scene cuddle that's them, not us).
Sims holding something (a book, a drink...) now put it away properly before the fun starts held items no longer vanish from your world.
The Approach works from the pool too: your Sim climbs out, walks up and asks first, like everywhere else.
The Approach now works everywhere: on beds, sofas, chairs and every other object and for threesomes and bigger scenes too. Pick the scene, your Sim walks up and asks one partner first, and after the "yes" everyone heads to the spot together, just like a real WooHoo invite.
Sims now properly walk to dining chairs and other slotted furniture instead of teleporting.
Fixed several end-of-scene glitches: no more Sims frozen on the bed after cancelling, no more Sims stacked inside each other when a scene ends, and no more brief T-pose flashes everyone steps apart and gets on with their day.
Self-repair on every lot load: if a scene ever gets cut off the hard way (a game reset, a badly-timed travel, a crash), your Sims no longer stay stuck or undressed forever the mod now spots the leftovers on the next loading screen and quietly fixes them: everyone dressed back, freed up and ready to play.
