Return of the Jedi when?
Watch the prequels after the next one...PLEASE...Revenge of the sith is so good and will make for a great reaction to the channel
It’s so rare that some doesn’t already know the “I am your father” twist so it was so fun to watch you guys react to that part genuinely 😂
Lol Hannah! I loved it when Han said "i know" instead of i love you too. Its the best line in the movie for me 😁😁
I'm so happy we know about Annakin now 😄 One of the best plot twists of all time. Without spoiling, I can't wait for more family secrets to come out, haha. I remember ranting to my dad 🤣
I'm FINALLY on Patreon! 🎉 ready to watch your videos! 😊
When you watch prequels fight scenes you'll be mesmerised
Don't wait too long to watch Return of the Jedi! So touching... like a Shakespearean tragedy
Dont worry, with the coming movies you will learn the story of Darth Vader. And it will be burned into your soul.
Favorite reaction of yours!
Legit watching this again for the 4th time. I have a problem
That was really fun. I'm looking forward to the next one. (And hopefully Rogue: One and Andor).
Omg that thumbnail!!! Hahaha
Vader's throne is also a pressurization chamber which allows him to breathe without the need of his suit's life support system, that's why he was seen briefly without his helmet on. The "I know" is the way that Han expresses that he loves her. He's trying to stay brave and stoic up until the end. Also Luke didn't fly, he just jumped really high using the force. As for the armour, i think it functions similar to body armour in that you will still feel the force of the blaster bolt, knocking you out but not killing you(although there are still instances of people being killed with armour on at point blank), as for the aim, well that's the joke when someone says "stormtrooper aim" . Also once you're done with episode 6, episodes 1-3 will give more backstory to a lot of characters, and i think you'll love em. And at the end, my interpretation, is that throughout the film whenever someone fails him,Vader force chokes them to death. At the end however when Leia and them escape by fixing the hyperdrive, Vader is lost in his thoughts about Luke, he turns, looks back then, walks past the officer that "failed" him consumed by his thoughts about Luke. Good reaction, Cheers!
Ash sort it out. Without R2 especially, everyone would have been dead 100x over. He saves all their asses multiple times throughout the saga! Hannah is right, R2 is the GOAT!
Hit a nerve? 😂
Yaaaaasss!!! 🤣🤣🤣 one of my fave reactions for sure you guys. I’ll be rewatching it tonight!!
Openly talking about poopd!
“The Empire Strikes Back,” has the greatest shocker in movie history. Your reaction was worthy of that unparalleled twist. I’d been considering retiring my Patreon subscription for a while. I’m glad I didn’t. Thanks! Star Wars films return repeatedly to, ‘things aren’t what they seem’: -Han is not a heartless smuggler who’s only in it for the money. R2 can’t be summed up as a barely-mobile, armless droid who could never help the alliance or rescue anyone. Vader’s suit isn’t a fashion statement; it’s a mobile Iron Lung, covering a horribly injured person. Yoda isn’t the ‘cute little Elf-helper’ by the roadside. R2 and C-3PO don’t actually hate each other. In ways that Ep 6 will reveal, Vader does not …ah, but that’d be telling. When Vader talks to the Emperor in 'Empire Strikes Back,' what's going on is complicated. My read is this: 1) The Emperor IS NOT telling Vader anything that Vader doesn't already know!! Note that Vader said, in an earlier part of the movie, "...and I'm sure Skywalker is with them." So Vader already knew that someone named 'Skywalker' was a Big Person in the Rebel alliance, and he probably already knew that this Skywalker was THE PERSON who destroyed the Death Star. Vader also knew that when he (Vader) was attempting to shoot down Skywalker's X-Wing in 'A New Hope' that, "The Force is strong with this one." So, the Force is unusually strong with someone, who happens to have the name, 'Skywalker' - and 'Skywalker' is the same name that Vader had before he was Vader. So, Vader already knew he had a son, before he spoke to the Emperor. 2) If Vader already knew, why did he conceal that fact, and act surprised when the Emperor mentioned it? "How is that possible?" The answer is, that while Vader serves the Emperor, Vader also •hates• the Emperor, and has a different agenda than the Emperor. Vader wants to rescue Luke from death, and to kill the Emperor, and then rule the galaxy with his son - the only family he has left (that Vader knows about). That means turning Luke to the Dark Side. By contrast, the Emperor wants to remove Luke as a threat. That could mean destroying Luke, but when Vader suggests turning Luke to the dark side, the Emperor goes along with it: If Luke is converted to the Dark Side, the Emperor can "trade up" and replace Vader with "a new apprentice, one far younger and more powerful." So, when Vader talks to the Emperor, both Vader and the Emperor are "scheming past one another." Both men want a DIFFERENT final outcome, and while both want to turn Luke to the dark side, both want to use Luke for a different final purpose.
Mark Hamil, the actor playing Luke Skywalker, was involved in a car accident before this film and got scarred on his face. So they put the Wampa scene (Ice yeti in beginning of movie) to maul Luke and have that explain the scars on his face. The entire movie, Han is playing Lei with the reverse pyschology flirting! telling her in the ice hallway that she is the one in love with him...she's the one who has feelings for him! he has them too, but his character is too macho, "Bad boy" so he isn't gonna come off as a romantic "Romeo." when he said "I know" he was trying to be light hearted in the moment since it potentially would be his last and was gonna say something snarky but it comes off more serious anyhow. kinda like a last joke but not a joke, more like a flirty "I know" but you could tell he was scared... your reaction to "No, I. AM. YOUR. FATHER! was so good. I was waiting for that for some time.
To me Han wasn't trying to be lighthearted and was actually very serious when he said "I know," he said it because despite their arguing it was his way of telling her that he has always understood her feelings and that she doesn't need to explain herself... Leia wanted to say it because she thought he might die without knowing, but his response meant she didn't have to because he already knows that she loves him. He didn't say "I love you" back either because he is a man of actions and not words, he has shown her that he loves her throughout the entire movie better than any words could do. He is a bad boy character but this movie showed he's just as romantic and serious, that's why his response seems so serious, because it is. Anyway not trying to argue just wanted to share my interpretation of it :)
This was the best reaction ever to the dad moment, yall were hilariously thrown off by it. Top reaction ever hahaha
A question, will you upload this movie where we can see what you are seeing to? That was kinda what i was expecting :D
That's unfortunately not how full length reactions work, because of copyright laws. You need your own copy/version/stream of the movie to watch along and sync up.
Hey Ash and Hannah! hope you are well!
for hannah, he's not bleeding cus the lightsaber is so hot (it's a laser) it cauterizes the stump instantly
Hey guys, would it be possible to get a list of upcoming content on here? Would love to know what I am looking forward to seeing with you guys in the upcoming week's x
haha Hannah wants to watch the next one now lol..
Darth vader is a sith not jedi..
The whole "sith" nonsense was introduced officially (and expanded upon) in the prequels. In the original trilogy of movies, it's never mentioned, so it's perfectly normal to think that Vader was just a jedi when watching the OT for the first time.
Not sure about your hair Ash...
Why would a pirate say, “I love you”
This will forever be my favorite SW movie. Such fond childhood memories and my favorite track of john williams "Han Solo and the Princess" is so beautiful. Classic.
The entire SW original trilogy soundtrack is just epic. I get chills in the 3rd one at a certain big battle scene when Williams pulls out the horn section.
the prequels are painfully slow (imo) but completely necessary for some of your questions! I hope you'll react to the whole saga <3
What a great reaction! Appreciate you both👏👏👏
Star Wars is a great franchise. Ash credits The God Father as being his all-time great movie. I'd like to suggest some other great Robert De Niro films are huge power houses: 1. Deer Hunter(1978) came out one year before the first Star Wars and it stars John Cazale, he was Fredo in the GF, Christopher Walken and a young Meryl Streep. There is also Raging Bull(1980) this is a Martin Scorsese movie starring Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. And then the most unusual film, there's nothing that can compare. Walken is so different in it compared to his Deer Hunter role. I'd recommend you watch Deer Hunter first and then watch "Pennies From Heaven" (1981) Not a chance Ash and Hannah won't be belly laughing and saying over and over, "Oh My Days!" And the way it ends...well you say I sure didn't see that coming.
Who's your daddy?
I take it back. Ash is not Leia, he's Pipi Long stalking.
lol its funny how you guys read waaayyy to much into things.. lol. funny to see a fresh reaction to the big reveal...
My favorite part of this is that Ash understood EXACTLY what the dark side teachings were all about right away when Luke went into that cave! PERFECT breakdown too. Made me very happy, he really gets it.
Love that reaction, thanks!
Its London a million years bc.
Is it a Yoga retreat or...a Yoda retread?
"... You and my Mum are so alike" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'M DEAD!!! This is how you know you have a fantastic relationship, that story. Start to finish.❤️
Can yall please warn us when youre gonna pause it and maybe coundown cuz then u throw off the whole sync of the movie and its hard to get back
I second this. Especially when they make it harder to sync than any other reactor
One of the greatest films of all time.
What a silly picture. Ash with Leia buns.
Thanks for dropping this! Been a rough start to the year for me and you two always cheer up my spirits. Much love, hope you two are doing well!
The only GREAT and last GREAT Star Wars film IMHO.
There are only 3 true Star Wars movies, and this was the greatest of them all.
Why can’t I see the movie playing?
Due to copyright laws, Ash cannot show these films in their entirety on here. This is why he adds a timer at the top right, so you can have this reaction on one screen and your own copy of the film on another screen to sync it up.
that intro had me SCREAMING 🤣🤣🤣🦅🦅🦅
Especially when the glasses went on 🤣
😂🤟👏👏👏👏 you guys are the best loved this
