Stalag 17 is another old B&W movie i would recommend, set during ww2
Diversity is not based on skin color or gender. Exactly, that would be sexism or racism. Diversity comes from having completely different opinions, even if you look the same.
HBO remade this in the 90’s, I recommend checking it out as well…It has a laundry list of amazing actors…Jack Lemmon, George C. Scott, Tony Danza, James Gandolfini and a few others.
A classic! based on the stage play by Reginald Rose. I remember we read it in high school, great writing. If you guys liked this, then you would LOVE "To Kill A Mockingbird" based on another piece we read in high school but it is an amazing story about trying to save an innocent man from the death penalty, along with other messages too. But you guys should definitely react to that.
bro I watched this for the first time with you guys, and it nearly made me cry, such incredible messages
Great movie pick!
I think the story is great because at first it's just 12 angry men, who all look similar, sound similar, etc. But by the end you realize that despite the outside appearance - it actually is a diverse group if people, diverse where it really matters - on the inside.
New subscriber y’all! Appreciate you two. If you could find the time to watch it; “Grind” is a great watch. Hope to see it up there!
I'm going to put my hat in the ring for black and white movies with "Arsenic and Old Lace", wonderful and funny movie. I think you guys would love it!
The next "old black-and-white movie" I'd recommend you watching is "Casablanca". Absolutely timeless!
The cancel culture part is hilarious when it is literally the opposite. It was listening to people come in with these hidden agendas against a person. They were so attached to them they wanted to send a child to die. All of the items they brought in that had nothing to do with the case. If anything it showed how we can change minds, more conversation. But way more to do with bringing out the darkness people hide in their hearts.
Loved your reaction to this! There is another black and white film you MUST see called 'A Night To Remember' It's the story of The Titanic but much more true to the testimonials of the survivors. It's a brilliant film and another one that does not seem like it's in black and white. It's one of my fav movies ever and after 12 Angry Men, I think it's a perfect next choice1
The movie isn't about a murder trial. It's about men coming to terms with their flaws.
Great film and reaction.
Most incredible movie.
Great film. The timid juror with the soft voice was the original voice of piglet btw.
Amazing reaction, guys.
Haven’t seen the outro yet, or started your reaction, but I’ve heard you say in the intro that the 1957 date was pretty surprising for, but I just want to say that 12 angry men is known as one of the best introductions to older movies, lots of people think that.
A movie u have to check out is called Blood in blood out, its a hood classic among all latinos its so good
VATOS LOCOS FOREVER!
Lots of symbolisms in this one
