Ash, Hannah, Thank you for watching this. My cousin died during operation Red wings. (This movie.) Thank for keeping my cousin's memory alive. I have tears in my eyes. Thank you so much
You have to watch my favourite cinematic experience ever, RRR!!
Man i knew you would love this movie ages ago when i first saw your earlier war movie reactions and i knew you would love this but i honestly didnt think you would love it this much or get that emotional over the reality of it but wow man thanks for such an amazing reaction both of you because yeah it really does hit you in the end thanks again! truly
Love watching you guys, the Harry Potters have been the best haha can’t wait for the last one. A few great movies I’d love to see you react to: The peanut butter falcon Honey boy This is where I leave you Room Prisoners Big love from Australia 💛
What the hell are you even paying monthly for? Get outta here with your negativity.
as one who worked with him, please stop this bullshit. kill a young afgani and have a shia with a vapid brit react to an american flim...........dude like really?
Tf you on about xD
after watching this with you guys, I have to recommend 13 Hours. Such a great film. Also based on a true story
Yes please 😭😭
Hey Guys Fantastic reaction would love to see "event horizon or big trouble in little china "
I dislike movies that romanticizes the US military because no matter how the story in the movie plays out.. the real world horror of the middle-east invasion is still fresh in our minds. I never watch movies that take real world events and only make the one side seem justified or heroic.
There are still people in the middle east who remember the good that soldiers have done like the one in this film who aided an american soldier. My best friend was deployed to Afghanistan during his birthday, while i was at university partying on weekends he was risking his life to help people he doesn't know. Not all soldiers are saints and some do abuse their power but you can paint them all with the same brush.
I don't know how appropriate it would be, but I saw a recent Iranian movie that was great that I'd love Ash to react to, in order to give some cultural context. It's called "Holy Spider" (2022) and it got some great reviews at festivals last year. It's subject matter is sensitive so I'd understand of it wasn't appropriate to react to.
My favorite military movie is “American sniper” if y’all could at it to your watch list
The movie is incredibly accurate. You can hear/see Marcus talk about it on the Joe Rogan Experience #1622
13 Hours and 12 Strong would be 2 other very good true story movies to watch next
Both are on my list of fave military films.
:"} loved lone surivivor. Id love a Blood Diamond reaction
Blood Diamond is brilliant
Also, I did read that the film very closely mirrors the true story and that the director has actual elite Navy SEALS on set. He gave them lots of authority, they could call cut for even the smallest details that weren't accurate. I really appreciate filmmakers that try to keep things as authentic as that.
Just finished watching and I want to thank you guys for making me ugly cry. Lol I don't remember this movie at all, though I recall hearing about the true events. I thought I saw this but if I did, I didn't remember a thing. It was so tense and hard to watch, and heartbreaking. But what a beautiful movie. And message. ♡
I was in Afghanistan in 2006 (German army) I won't reveal more, but it is a beautiful country with very friendly people (who I will never forget) and good food
13 Hours , is another one that should follow this. Also based on tru events
If you guys want to read about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Red_Wings
Hell yea I’ve been waiting a while for this one
Incredible film
Mohammed Gulab the dad that saved Marcus currently lives in Texas with his wife and 7 kids
Lol and they’re Navy Seals
I was in the U.S Marines and when I’m afghan and your fight the war you can bring anyone to custody if there not a threat that’s why they couldn’t kill them either they weren’t a threat
the old man said "hear this, your deaths will be tonight...tonight will be your deaths!"
Haven't gotten myself to watch this. One of the best books I've ever read though. Guess I will give it a watch with you guys.
I feel you with the internet. Where I live it likes to run great one minute and then slow the next. 🤣 Can't wait to rewatch this with you guys tonight!
This one here hits close to home. Axel is from my home town so to see the fight they have within them really is something to see. Reiterates my pride and love for those in the military
Can't wait to watch this with you two!
