And Ash, watch Popeye it has Shelley & Robin Williams
I suggest OG Amityville Horror, next please
cannot accept the shelley duvall disrespect!!
Shelley Duvall's performance is the direct result of Stanley Kubrick's desires and artistic vision. But also his obsessiveness. They did over a hundred takes just for the scene on the stairs he wanted her to be a nervous wreck in real life.
Very sad, if her anxiety from then on was from The Shining- but look at what this movie 🎥 is about too
Recommend you guys look into the making of the film if you have any interest. It's fascinating.
Definitely need to watch Dr. Sleep now!!!!
I’m wondering how come the feature length versions don’t show footage like other movie reaction sites, but they do in the YouTube edit’s?? If there is a technical, finance or legal issue regarding this! I’m more then happy to assist and weigh in on making this site have the same capabilities.
I second that!!! Doctor Sleep is the sequel that should definitely be watched/reacted and will fully explain any questions you had about The first film.
Love the reactions. Hope you will consider watching Sleepy Hallow for October/Halloween.
Doctor Sleep is now a must watch while The Shining is fresh on your mind 😁
You guys should watch Halloween the 1978 John Carpenter indie film
Amazing mate! I cant wait for you to watch Gladiator with Hannah. The tears will really be rolling then and ill be weeping along side you both as i always do with that amazing movie. Much love xxo
When Hannah lost her shit at 2h14m was hilarious.
Hannah is 100% on the money with her performance portraying innocence, she is supposed to seem very aloof and just flimsy/weak...although it's not like super realistic or amazing acting, the performance is perfect for the character. And it definitely requires rewatches to really get all the symbolisms, but your guys interpretations are interesting and that's why this is an all-time iconic film...there's still constant theories and discussions about it today.
Thats anoth3r thing we don't know how lomg she has put up with Jack's abuse, or maybe Wendy was not like this befor3 Danny came.... And Stephen King did not like how Jack from the start was already an asshle
Great film to put it into context in 1980 slashers like Halloween, Texas chainsaw,Nightmare in elmstreet were popular and considered horror. Kubrick came out with this stunning looking film which is the 1rst to use the steady cam. Directors like Spielberg, Nolan, Scorsese, PTA admire him as a goat for a reason this movie and his others have Hella symbolisms. Shelley Duvalls performance in this is legendary, people are gonna shit on you for sure for critiquing one of the great female performances of all time.
the intro is brilliant lmao
“Here’s Johnny”, is what Ed McMahon used to say to introduce Johnny. Carson on the tonight show. Jack was just mimicking that.
NICHOLSON & CARSON WERE BFFs THEN
All I can say is...YES, Ash....yes.
Had to get the patreon for this one, glad to support the channel and the entertainment you guys bring.
Is this the platform to DM y’all when you become a new Patreon member? Because I wrote y’all about a week ago and haven’t heard anything back so I’m not sure if this is where you’re supposed to message/request videos…?
I think I saw a post somewhere, explaining that they were in the middle of moving and the place they have at the moment has a weak internet connection. They are trying to resolve issues ASAP.
