DEAD POETS SOCIETY | FULL LENGTH | MOVIE REACTION

I used to be a part of this group called The Drunk Poets Society. We met up at a pub downtown (Portland Oregon U.S.A.) and would drink and be rowdy and take turns standing on a table and reading our (or someone else's) poetry. Also, if you like lyrics, you like poetry. That is essentially what they are. You might like Dorothy Parker. She was a sassy biatch. One of her short ones; "If I don't drive around the park, I'm pretty sure to make my mark. if i'm in bed each night by ten, I may get back my looks again. if I abstain from fun and such, I'll probably amount to much. but I shall stay the way I am because I do not give a damn." Dead Poets Society is and will always be a f*ckin' classic with a brilliant message. i am sorry that your father put you through that. i went through a lot of abuse growing up. it ain't easy. and I am glad you are still around. your patreon and hannah's are the only ones I have ever subscribed to... EVER. i never came on here before you two. so, glad you are here. and lastly, there was a parody of the last scene in DPS on SNL... here is a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ie6LpKOJVf0

Yoooo! I forgot about August Rush! Most underrated Robin Williams film!
Just saw this Ash, great reaction. Lucky you didn't work in maths!
There is so much to say but so little time to write it. I'll leave it here for you Ashkan. "O CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN"
Oh yess! Dead Poets Society is an absolutely timeless movie, with messages that are still relevant today. There's still some nice symbolisms that you miss on a first viewing; one good example is during the first lesson where Keaton tells the students about "carpe diem". When he mentions that everyone is "food for worms", the camera closeup is on Neil. Really love these reactions from you, Ash, hoping that you'll keep up with doing more emotional and important movies like this one!
O Captain! My Captain!
Here we go! Love Robin Williams man. One of the coolest people I've ever met. Absolutely true story.. he actually asked me to go shopping with him once. I met him at a mall in New Orleans and he wanted my opinion on some things and said he wanted more "hip hop clothes." We talked about his movies. He said he always wanted to do more "gangster shit!" But he never got those kinds of movies. Solid guy with a great soul. The whole time I never thought of him as a celebrity. Swear on my life this happened.
