There is definitely some fictional aspects intertwined to make the show more dramatic and the script better but there is also a lot of historical events that do happen throughout all the seasons.
I think I’m real life Spartacus wife did die but batiatus didn’t kill her specifically I think the romans did but not exactly sure.
