You know… I might be with Ash on this one about the ending. As he was walking away, where were the other hundreds of people? Why was the street suddenly empty? I need to know what happened 😂😭
Great movie you guys should watch The Autopsy of Jane Doe
Fun fact. They do all die in the book sorry Hannah. It’s much worse in the book. One of them carries their own intestines
SK doesn’t just write horror he’s a brilliant story writer. Emotionally scarring but it touches your heart yet scares the shit outta you
Could we get a reaction to the dark knight rises
guys should watch raze film, so good
Stand by Me, the Shining, Carrie - you guys have watched way more Stephen King movies than the ones you mentioned!
What an unbelievable film this was! I watched along with you guys, and was blown away by it. Shocked and upset by it as well.
IDK if this hasnt been said but, It would be so cool to see both the Hitmans Bodyguard and The Hitmans's Wife And Bodyguard
Here to watch with you two again !!! This movie was EPIC !!! every beautiful very emotional very sad and I loved at the end you guys appreciated everything about your lives. I felt the same 🤎🤎🤎🤎
I’ve been waiting for this one. I love your reactions! ❤️ Don’t really know how Deep Blue Sea beat it?! Oh well . Lol
Saw this in the theater last year, and I was very impressed how emotional this film was. Very bleak dystopian thriller that sticks with you thank to some really good writing. Not to mention some good characters you know briefly, but feels like you’ve known them a lifetime. The cast was great Cooper Hoffman is the real life son of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, and as good as he was in this, I think he’s going to have a good career ahead of him. David Jonsson was very likable, he was in Alien Romulus. Tut Nyout was also good, he was in Karate Kid Legends. Mark Hamill is great considering this is a polar opposite from his Luke Skywalker character. He’s also had a stellar career as a voice actor, most notably the Joker in the Batman Animated Series. Also the writing in this film was done by TJ Mollner, who’s also a director. He made Strange Darling, highly recommended it!
Hannah darling I feel you in this reaction. This movie was so incredibly hard to watch and really for empathetic people like yourself (I’m assuming you are based on what I have seen in your channel) you feel everything so much more and everything is very vivid and hurts that much more. I do though agree with Ash that this is one of the best films I have seen in a long time. Especially with what is going on in this world right now this movie hits so much harder. We need to start thinking of others as much as ourselves and remember that choosing light and goodness and love is only something we can do and we have to work for it. Cheers guys
what a saaaaad movie, damn almost wet my blunt with my tears. 10/10 can't wait to see what you guys watch next!
As an American The Major sounds a little too familiar. part of why i love this film is because of the message to America. You never come back from the war. War stays the same and it never ends. the story is horrific and real and it was written after the Vietnam war. Its set in a dystopian 1970's America. in the book they were children, 13 to 18, but i understand why they changed that for the film. In the book there were ravenous crowds watching the Walkers, they would take everything from someone who died, including the body. Stephen King had one condition when this movie was made, show every death in detail. do not hide the horror.
I'm with Ash. This one is a 10 out of 10. I will say, I do not think Pete was killed at the end. They don't touch on it in the movie but in the book, it's explained that a lot of the people in the military (or the "squad" as it's call in the book) aren't there of their own volition. Most of them didn't want to be there. No winner had done this before. The Major was gone with no one else to give orders. I don't find it hard to believe they let him go. He was the winner and they are basically royalty. Also, to help Hannah feel a little better, the alternate ending gives a little bit of peace. Pete goes on to share his winnings with Olson's wife, Ray's mom, and Art's grandma (as well as returns Art's crucifix to her). Very different than the book but I absolutely enjoyed it from start to finish; as twisted as that may seem. Beautiful story. Judy Greer was an unsung hero. Her entire performance when her character sees Ray in the town was gutwrenching to the max. Stellar. Great reaction as always, guys. Thanks for watching. Until the next one!
You guys should definitely see IT Welcome To Derry, imo it's even better than the movies
As a retired combat veteran, this movie kicked me right in the feels. This movie did an amazing job of showing the beauty and horror of how of brotherhood, camaraderie, and strength mingle with trauma, hatred, and sacrifice. Amazing acting from everyone in the movie. "In the darkest hour when the demons come, call on me brother, and we will fight them together."
This is a movie you watch once and never again bc the emotional state I was in while watching….just completely insane.
THANK YOU FOR THIS ASH AND HANNAH. YOU GUYS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED 🤎🤎
Going to watch this as I have dinner but this movie completely broke me! The kids are so young, obviously, the actors are adults, but they are portraying kids. As a teacher who works with teenagers every day, so many of the boys reminded me of my students. Especially Art❤️ his heart was so pure, and his death hurt me the most.
AHHHHH‼️‼️‼️ IM SO READY‼️‼️‼️🥳🎉🥳🎉🔥🔥🔥
This was a good one even though it didn't match the book. Love this.
Great Movie...you guys must watch Project Hail Mary very soon
I'll second that! Just watched it myself last night. Not only a fantastic movie, but there are a lot of references to other recent Just Trust Ash movie reactions to make it extra fun for Ash and Hannah.
This was one of 2 movies that Mark Hamill appeared in that were based on Stephen King works in the same year. You NEED to see the other 2025 Stephen King film he did: THE LIFE OF CHUCK (2025). Criminally overlooked, and extremely subtle storytelling. Hamill deserved a Supporting Actor nomination for this one in my opinion. THE LIFE OF CHUCK is one where you need to pay very close attention to what you see and hear (especially early on), and warrants watching twice. Makes you really think about life.
Ash, please react to these incredible movies: The Hunt (Jagten) — 2012 Bajrangi Bhaijaan — 2015 Ghajini — 2008 A Separation — 2011 These are truly unforgettable films, full of powerful emotions and brilliant storytelling. They absolutely deserve your love and reactions. ❤️❤️
The last time I had cried this much was when I saw Interstellar
Love this movie, thank you for the early upload Ash
