Dark Phoenix is not worth watching at all.

Apocalypse is a Thanos level threat in the marvel comics....for the X men of course. The Xmen movies have always been extremely light on CGI characters. They used CGI for powers and such yes, but they usually used practical makeup for characters...which grounds it and works out pretty well(look at mystique and beast and such)....however, Apocalypse is probably the only exception in my opinion that perhaps CGI was the route to go....the way Apocalypse is portrayed in comics and cartoons I don't think can be done with practical makeup...This movie made it look terrible. I have always loved the Apocalypse story lines though.....him and his 4 horseman....In the Xmen comics, there is a concept called "astral projection." essentially psychic mutants can project themselves to a place called the "Astral Plane". a dimensional place only accessible to psychics. In the Astral Plane, your power can create reality, and whoever has the most psychic power will dominate the battle in the astral plane. In this movie, the fight between Professor X and Apocalypse was in the astral plane, Professor X made the astral plane resemble in the mansion. but Apocalypse is powerful and was able to make himself mentally grow very big. Two battles where happening together...one for real outside in Cairo Egypt, and one in the astral plane....Jean destroyed Apocalypse in both realms.

You guys gotta check out dark phoenix, it tell you so much about Jean, and just how powerful she actually is

Apocalypse gave him the upgrade to control the magnetic field of the earth. That's what you were seeing

Also, Ash and Hannah, please, please watch X-Men '97 on Disney Plus! You don't have to know everything about the old X-Men cartoon/comics but it is soo badass and only a handful of episodes and it goes fast. It's one of the best animated shows and one of the best portrayals of the X-Men.

In the comics Magneto was the father of Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Polaris. However, because Marvel and Fox were competing studios at the time and due to pettiness on both sides, Marvel changed Magneto's family connections. He is no longer the father of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, though they remain close.

Ash Jean is the host of the Phoenix force which is one of the most powerful entities in all of marvel comics. She’s literally a god that’s why apocalypse said “all is revealed”.

We need a Magneto tax lol. The only thing that I didn't like was they should have spent the money to give Apocalypse the same treatment they gave Thanos in the Avengers. Apocalypse is the g.o.a.t. of X-Men villains in the comics, and my personal favorite. Apocalypse uses alien technology as well to enhance his abilities. In the comics, Jean is only that powerful because of a cosmic force known as The Phoenix force that binds with her. The next movie goes into that.

Arguing if a blue person is green or purple is hilarious 🤣

Guys i love you but pleeease less making jokes and littttle bit more listening. Sometimes your missing so much important information.

Fun fact: Nightcrawler is the offspring of Azazel and Mystique in the comics.

No Jesus is not before the pyramids and this was 3.5 thousand years before Jesus and 5.5 thousand years ago in the story. The pyramids came thousands of years before Jesus. Magneto was not enhanced, he's the only one that didn't need his power jumped up; he just showed him he already had the power to pull the metal from the Earth and she was right, there is iron in the earth, lots of it; it's the most abundant metal on the planet and much of the earth is iron. Ash you shut her down too fast, she was right about that. The out of place costume you're complaining about, the actress insisted on because it's comic book accurate and she refused to wear anything else.
