I loved this movie! You and Hannah should watch another Zack Snyder production, my personal all time favorite superhero film, called The Watchmen. If you like dark gritty 'Sup" films, that one is d*mn incredible!

Honestly, this is by far the greatest superman movie we've ever gotten...and Henry was the perfect casting. Everything would be right in the world again if he gets another opportunity to don the suit at some point in the future. Hope you and Hannah do the Snyder cut of Batman vs Superman and Justice League.

Dear Ash and Hannah. I’m having a bit of a stressed out day, it’s about 7 PM here in New Jersey and I needed something to make me laugh and then put a smile on my face. So I’m watching your reaction to Blade for the 58th time. Yes you read that right. That’s how good it is. I’m at the part where Ash said in response to Hannah‘s question about if this is a movie about killing vampires, you said “yes give me that baby.”….. How about following up on that. There is blade two, there is the incredible queen of the Damned, there’s even the John Carpenter film vampires. Those are three top-notch films that will generate that high-quality incredible reaction that we love about you. All our love, Howard and Sharon

Ash, Superman fought for "truth, justice, and the American way." He's an American. And while he cares for all humanity and he is a citizen of earth, he IS an American. And this is why stories are getting destroyed: instead of you making NEW characters, our beloved characters are being changed for inclusivity. And thats not right. Make your own characters if you dont like one that has existed for nearly 80 years. Dont make Superman a woman, or gay, or from Africa, or get uncomfortable because he says he's American. Its not necessary. Shouldn't bother people that Superman is American. Goodness sakes. And this is where foreigners get weird. Hannah said "best believe the world would be reacting", as if it bothered her that we're only seeing a battle in America. But the world isn't going to be fighting because its all located in Metropolis! The only other military acting would be in response to what is happening in the Indian Ocean but realistically, it would have taken time for someone in Asia to react and to know what to do. American military is reacting because it has inside information from Superman!!! Again, goodness sakes. Also, the Council of Krypton did not believe Jor-El that the planet was dying. So, it makes sense for the Council to sentence Zod and crew for 300 cycles to Phantom Zone. No need to leave them to die with everyone else because they didn't KNOW they were dying, or in certain versions, forced the secret. On Zod's ship, it was Jor-El that changed composition so that Superman regained his power. This film cannot be compared to Gunn Superman. Man of Steel was a masterpiece. And this is coming from someone who did not originally like it because Christopher Reeve was my Superman. Over time, I realized how beautifully well this was put together. Serious movie for serious people. Gunns version is for kids and, honestly, will not be remembered for being anything spectacular. Its a Friday night. Man of Steel is a relationship. Christopher Reeve Superman is a marriage.

loved this reaction super fun watching you guys see the difference in styles between this one and the 2025 one. I'm still gonna be annoying and say you guys should watch Transformers One tho <3

4 things: 1) The Kryptonians DID NOT have superpowers on krypton...nor on the kryptonian ship. Krypton DID NOT have a yellow sun. So they only get superpowers (Strength, flight, heat vision, x ray vision, telescope vision, etc) once they get into the yellow sun's rays. therefore, while on the ship, when they were being rough with Louis Lane, it was normal "human" rough. only once they stepped outside and the sun's rays did they obtain the superpowers...but not all of them, once they lost the breathing masks, did ALL the superpowers come out. Also, remember that Zod and Jor El were born predetermined to be a military leader and a science leader. So Zod's born purpose was to be a combat warrior, which is why he was able to adapt to the superpowers quicker than Clark did. 2) Superman comic was originally written for the USA....the OG motto for Superman was "Truth, Justice, and the American Way." that is why is has very pro-USA themes in it. However, in the modern age of comic book writing, A new gen of writers decided to change Superman's USA patriotism into being a "citizen of the world." 3) only a fringe minority complained about this version of superman movie......most, and I MEAN MOST, prefer this movie over the 2025 movie....which IS NOT "more" accurate by any stretch compared to this one. if only for the color scheme and campiness of it..... 4) The Kryptonian leaders DID NOT believe Jor El that the planet was going to explode....which is why they sentenced Zod to the Phantom Zone, if they believed Jor El, then yes, they would have just kept Zod on the planet while it exploded. Lara's last words where "Jor El was right, this is the end."

Ash, when you watch the wolverine theres an end credit scene where it leads to X-men Days 0f Future Past. Please watch the Rogue Cut instead of the first version, trust me bro you and Hannah would enjoy the Rogue Cut more than the theatrical version. Put a poll up if you dont believe me.
