The Lost World: Jurassic Park | FULL LENGTH | MOVIE REACTION

Don't worry Ash, it's bad ass af

I love the first two films so much. The 1st movie asks the moral question: "Should We?" The 2nd film asks, "Now that we have, what is the moral things to do with them?" Obviously, it should never be done. As a weird animal person (LOL, Ash doesn't lie), we will always question what we do with a planet we have altered. These movies (And the First Jurassic World to an extent), are a fun commentary on real-life conservation, real-life capitalism, and how money will never be able to buy out nature. Not ever. Also, dinosaurs are so incredibly fun, and the effects in these movies still look better than some of the "cutting-edge" movie tech today. The dinosaurs feel like REAL animals. Btw, for Hannah's peace of mind: Modern-day accredited zoos and aquariums do not take animals from the wild. Animals you see there are almost all born in human care, usually as part of a conservation breeding program for endangered species. There are occasional exceptions like rescued animals that have been rehabbed and would not survive if released back into the wild/ For example, injured animals, orphaned animals abandoned too young, pet trade, etc. Most zoos donate tons of money to conservation projects, in addition to having their own conservation projects and data collection both out in the field and at home. The more info we have, the better we can care for all animals. Many zoos have conservation projects that release animals back into the wild, but unfortunately, the biggest challenge Earth faces is habitat destruction. For many animals, there is no longer somewhere safe to release them to and call home. The primary goal of most zoos and aquariums is to educate and inspire people towards helping to protect and preserve these habitats, and through habitat preservation, maybe one day we could move on to more successful reintroduction programs where we could release these animals back into the wild where they are safe. A zookeeper's biggest dream is for animals not to need zoos. In the Second Jurassic Park: The goal is to prove to the world that the dinos exist, so that the government will be convinced to make it a protected habitat and off limits to human interference. Meaning the dinos have somewhere to be, and do not need us. I just wanted to make Hannah feel a bit better about some of it. My zoo has two really successful reintroduction programs where we have protected the habitats enough and the populations are thriving. It feels so good. Ash is right. We are crazy lmao. Amazing reaction! These movies are pop culture DNA for real.

My man ash always pisses Hannah off to the highest level of pissedivity and somehow brings her back around 2 smiling n laughing 2 seconds later!!!! here i am, a few months later, back to recommend ‘the breakfast club’!! i also think ‘the perks of being a wallflower’ and ‘little miss sunshine’ would be good reactions as well (i like sad but meaningful movies) 😋

Really good reaction guys, I love this movie a great and very underrated sequel to one of the best movies of all time imo. Pete Postlethwaite is fantastic as Roland Tembo, there are some deleted scenes/extended cut stuff that paints him in a much less villainous light. He's a guy who is lacking motivation because he's accomplished everything he thinks he can accomplish until he realizes there's a great challenge and goal out there for him. But in the end, despite conquering the one thing he set out to do, he realizes it's not worth the cost of losing his friend. He's also a total badass, but a deeper character than you think at first glance. This movie has a ton of memorable lines and scenes, can't even tell you how many times I watched it growing up. It's a scarier and darker movie than the first imo. The first scene with the Rex's, starting with the roar from the jungle and the raptors in the long grass are nightmare fuel type stuff. Other films in the series are fun action flicks, but they are all a big drop off from this movie, let alone the original. Would definitely be fun to watch along with you guys on some more, but they aren't required viewing imo.

I love this movie! It might not be as perfect as the first film, but The Lost World is a solid sequel, and it’s got everything I like out of it. It was the first Jurassic Park film I saw on the big screen, so it will always hold a place in my heart. The cast is great too. Jeff Goldblum is great as always, I like how self aware he is in this film. You gotta see him in “The Fly”. Richard Attenborough is wonderful as Hammond, I think you like his directorial effort “A Bridge Too Far”. Pete Postholate nearly steals the show as the hunter, “In the Name of the Father” and “Brassed Off” are great films he’s in. Arliss Howard you might remember as Private Cowboy in “Full Metal Jacket”, he had a small, but sweet role in the classic family movie “The Sandlot”. Vince Vaughn has also done a lot of good stuff, I think you’ll like him in “The Cell”, and “Freaky”, both underrated horror films. The Jurassic Park series kind of drifts after this. 3 is pretty action packed, but the plot is weak. 4 reboots the series, and is pretty fun. 5 sucks. 6 is okay, but still mediocre.

I've been looking forward to this for a while, guys!! It's one of the most underrated sequels - I'll never get why it wasn't received well by fans. Also, as a long-time member here AND the proud owner of the elite JTA coffee mug, you guys are my favorite reactors on the platform. I'll always be your fan. You can't get rid of me. That said, I've noticed a bit of a pattern lately that I want to point out as respectfully as possible. Quite a few crucial plot details and nuance have been missed due to simply.... your lovingly banter! Hahaha. Ironically, that exact dynamic is why your channel is just so damn fun. But if you guys are able, I hope you may try to refrain from that a bit while lines are read, especially early in some of these films. Get the full experience. You'll enjoy them more as a result and so will we!! I should prob go away now. Lol. Love you guys!!
