I think Rosalie's backstory was so painful and traumatic. No idea why Jasper had to be a Confederate...the way I read Twilight as a little kid and had NO clue what that meant and my equally as clueless friends were like "ooh, he's a soldier, that's hot". We look back and cringe now but what tf was Meyer's excuse for writing that as a whole adult sized human? I did not enjoy Jacob literally sexually assaulting Bella and then 2 seconds later she was like "ooh, a little wolf Carving just for me?? FORGIVEN!! 🤭🤭" No one in their right minds would still be hanging around w someone who betrayed their trust like that, but Bella is a special one. Edward's too controlling and Jacob's got no idea what consent is. Ngl, my Twilight fanfic favs were all Bella/Alice.

Jacob can only hear the thoughts of the wolves in his pack, he can’t read minds. Edward can read everyone’s mind, but not Bella’s. I didn’t like Jacob after this movie, between him kissing her without consent, being super inappropriate, and then crying he was going to end himself so she would kiss him, he really sucks after that lol
