Titanic (1997) | FULL LENGTH | MOVIE REACTION

so not sure if been mentioned before but nickelodeon was a projected motion-picture theatre and was named that as only cost a nickel.

Omfg when Jack said "you're still my best girl Cora" and Ash immediately picked up that she was gonna die. That's wild.

Joined patreon to watch these, because YouTube isn’t enough, and you two are hilarious! My niece is about your age, and when she was younger and watched this for the 3rd time, she mentioned Nickelodeon and I about died! I told her it was a type of movie projector you put a coin into and watched a movie. They did not in fact have SpongeBob in 1912. 😂

Excellent reaction, y'all. Check out "Saving the Titanic: Heroes of Bravery and Sacrifice" It goes into the story of the electricians and boiler room workers, that tried to keep the Titanic afloat. Really good watch. Cheers!

You know, I don't mind that Ash talked a lot through the movie, but I did mind that he turned his head all the way from the screen for extended amounts of time. You're missing things, Ash. But I do love you both! You're both passionate and pretty funny, too. 😁💛

I understand ash's frustration towards the end. The door debate has been going on for years and people think they both could've gotten on to the boat. But I just think some stories need a sad ending lol.

Ash for Gods sake GET A BOX OF TISSUES!!!!!

"LIFE AS A HOUSE" & "DEATH SENTENCE"...PRETTY PLEASE

https://youtu.be/uzG4cjm5mKo?si=eVqAHm7pNu-dw4v1

https://youtu.be/ijJ3X68Pzf0?si=OqP2rHNZgd0vVg3c

I am so sorry to tell you, Ash, that the love story between Jack and Rose is not real, although there were some love stories on The Titanic...I will let you look them up. You can still nane a future son Jack though. 😭

I know you like Hayden Christensen from "Stars Wars-Revenge of the Sith", so please watch "Life As A House", with him in it. He won an award fir that movie. I was a Patreon member on this other channel, and I asked him to watch the movie for me for almost three years. I paid good money for that lenth of time, and he coukdn't watch one movie fir me. I hated everything else he watched. I hate unsubscribing to people, but I finally did on his channel this morning, because he is just rude. I won't unsubscribe to you or Hannah's channels though, because you two are cool, and I like your vibes. My dog's nane is Anakin. Also, if you want to watch, "Death Sentence", with Kevin Bacon, that is a movie you would love, Ash...if you haven't alreasy seen it. I saw Titanic two or three times in the movie theatre. It came out three days after my 17th Birthday. You were talking about Johnny Depp. I used to live in Owensboro, KY (where he's from)...I had two of my babies there (One passed away). I also collect swords from "The Lord of the Rings" and "Game of Thrones". I am going back to college in a couple of months to major in "Expertise of Arms and Armor". Thank you for your content. You guys 🎸❗️ 😢💙💎🚢🧊🤕🛶🛟☠️

You have to watch avatar!!! Please please please

Is there any way you guys could react to What Dreams May Come with Robin WIlliams? It is the greatest movie i have ever seen.

I would love for you guys to react to Indecent Proposal. Hoping it can b voted on at some point.

Whats Eating Gilbert Grape would be a PHENOMENAL reaction from you both! Leonardo was amazing in that one. Beaches is another good older one of his.

I hope they watch The Substance

You should react to Romeo and Juliet—the Leo Dicaprio version. It brings a whole new vibe to the tragedy. Top tier. And then watch the beach...90's Leo was top tier.

Whats next guys

I feel bad for the officer who shot tommy because in real life that didn't happen. His family were really upset that they put that in the film because of how it made him look. James Cameron actually apologised for putting it in the film. But I really don't think you can judge anyone who was on the ship, you don't know how you would react in that kind of situation. What this film does amazingly is show the severity of human nature and how people can act in the most extreme situations. RIP to all those lost on the titanic

I love you guys!!! What a reaction.

Ash asking if Cal has a grave, "where is it?" 🤣🤣🤣

If memory serves, they couldn't both get on the door because the weight of 2 people would have caused it to sink. It doesn't really matter that there's technically enough surface area to fit them both. Also on the 'were these real people'-- yes and no. Jack and Rose are definitely fictional. I think Cal as well. Tommy and Fabrizio are fictional. Molly Brown, the Captain, Thomas Andrews, Mr. Ismay, a few of the other rich people are real people. Also the officer that shot Tommy is a real guy, but that event didn't happen and his family was pissed that he was portrayed having done that.

To try and take your minds off the more depressing history in this movie, you might be interested in the story behind Jack’s mention of Nickelodeon. A nickelodeon was actually one of the first kind of movie theaters and got its name from the movies costing 1 nickel. Nickelodeon the tv channel took its name as an homage to these theaters.

We just finished your reaction and it was absolutely wonderful. My wife and I knew that you, Ash, at the end would appreciate and love this movie. Which is the basis for my next comment. One of the things that we love about your Patreon channel is your love of good movies. More than that you appreciate and understand good filmmaking. So please, please stop doing reactions to absolute crappy films….. like “as above, so below”, or insidious or those other pieces of garbage. They are movies like the Godfather, which one could argue is even a better film than Titanic and one that Hannah has not seen. We look forward to your reactions with great anticipation. So please react to the better films the Classics, which you more than most people understand and appreciate.

Another neat fact that James Cameron did was he actually showed us the Titanic sink in real time. It took 2 hours and 14 minutes for the ship to completely sink and that’s exactly how long it is in the movie

1,514 people lost their lives that night … RiP Another horrible fact-it took a little over 10 minutes for the Titanic to sink to the bottom.

I have been looking forward to this one and it didn’t disappoint ❤️ I love your channel, and both of you brings so much joy, thank you! At some point I hope you will be watching “The substance”. I😄

And now you have to see My girl❤️ you will love it and maby cry❤️❤️❤️

Awesome reaction as always. Love you guys!

There is a reason it won 11 oscars man and is seared into pop culture. Top meme's

Thanks for adding the clarification on the subscription update about how you upload movies. I am back, now that I understand. Im Sorry I complained, other channels do it differently, but I came back because you rock! And look what I found! Anyways Happy new year, and as a Spanish speaker , Feliz año nuevo y por muchos mas !

Needed a good cry, thanks guys! Brilliant reaction, as always 🫶🏻

We all wanted to save Jack lol!! I avoid watching this movie 🎬 because always gets me, and Today I had no Choice but Great reaction, hope Ash likes little bit more Leonardo Dicaprio....

This reaction took me 2 days to watch LOL. It's a very long film, but very cinematic for sure. I'll always be sad that Jack and Rose didn't get to live a life together. You guys had a lot of funny moments in this one. Loved that Hannah still gets emotional watching it and Ash slowly got so invested that he wants to name your future son Jack 🤣🤣 Ash: How many times have you watched this? Hannah: *sobbing* like 25... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

I'm only halfway so far, and this reaction has already been fantastic.

You can throw another compliment James Cameron’s way - he’s the one who did the drawing of Rose. 😏 Loved this reaction, guys, 10/10. Kind of an off the wall suggestion, but I’d love to see you do Leo DiCaprio’s Romeo and Juliet, js js.

Please watch avatar

Can’t wait to watch this reaction. I have to recommend Money Talks(1997) with Chris Tucker and Charlie sheen before you guys watch Rush Hour 3.

If Ash were drawing Hannah, it would have been a quick stick figure. Hahaha. Titanic won 11 Oscars including Best Pic, Best Director, Best Score, Best Production Design. And Hannah needs to see Avatar.

One of your best reactions Ash. Loved Hannah in this aswell ofcourse. But Ash, like you said.. when you get outside your comfortzone and watch these brilliantly made films it just out right makes for a genuine and epic watch. Jokes were on point and props to the restraint you had on some of the moments and showed respect.

21 minutes in, and Ash has goosebumps from the film that just the thought of watching was making him angry.

One of the best reactions ever on your channel. Would have loved to see what Hannah’s first reaction to this movie was tho. I fucking love this movie so much. One of my favourite movies ever, when I used to watch it with my nan. She passed away a few years back, so I watch this movie in memory of her. RIP Nan.

Rose was based off/inspired by Beatrice Wood and her life. The rest of the characters were all real people on the ship, there was an outtake - the Japanese man you see throughout the film, he survived but was ostracized because they thought he'd saved himself instead of going down with the ship,. His name was Masabumi Hosono, I feel so bad that he never really got to overcome the Titanic, forced to live his life in shame. Cameron also did a test on whether Rose and Jack would have survived together on the door in this documentary on YT: https://youtu.be/k1mYHQZcD70

Please react to "The Pursuit of Happiness" and "Chappie" they are both so good 👍

you both have saved me from horrible depression and have become such a bright spot in my life. thank YOU for all your hard work and everything you do and sacrifice for this channel. i love you both so much!!! thank you for everything.

Great reaction! You guys would love the modern experiment that James Cameron did to prove that only one person could fit on the door. After years of listening to people complain that both Jack and Rose could've fit on the floating door, he created a documentary, hired actors, and brought in specialists to see for himself. It's worth watching on Youtube. It's called Titanic: 25 years later With James Cameron. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jXHFEy-ibc). One of the marks of a successful movie, is how passionate it makes people, to where they will argue their point about it, for years. I hope you watch and enjoy, even if you don't react to it. Bless you both. Thank you. <3

Hey Ash, please please do a reaction to the the movie “Hell or High Water”. Certain both you and Hannah would love it.

A nickelodeon was a movie theater cost one nickel to watch. The Tv channel was named after them.

A sad, but nice fact that its in the film and i believe is true but the survivors say the band did continue playing until the end

Can you guys pleasseeee watch Avatar?? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I signed up for patreon just for the Titanic reaction, my mom and I have probably watched this movie 200 plus times when I was growing up and it was bitter sweet every time. Now I'm growing up without her and I know your reaction will make me feel like I'm watching it with my mom🙂

Newbie Patreon, jumping in and I have to say I appreciate the beginning intro. Looking forward to see all the bonus commentary not on YouTube. 👍💯

The size of the door shes floating on has nothing to do with it. Its a matter of buoyancy. Cameron tries to show that but people dont ever notice. If he got on as well than it wouldnt stay above the waterline and they would both freeze. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. By the way, the “main” characters of the story, Jack, Rose, Cal, etc, are fictional. But all of the tertiary characters were real people. Cameron wanted the ship and the people around his characters to be as historically accurate as possible

Ahh, this was so fun. Crying. And crying. And crying.... 😆 Loved the reaction! Honestly I wasn't sure how Ash would do with this one, he goes on wild rides with how he interprets chatacters and I was worried he would misunderstand Rose and other characters. Well done on you Ash I am proud. Lol I enjoyed this reaction alot!

Titanic was a mega hit when it came out back in 1997, and although I hated it at first, I’ve warmed up to it over the years, and I appreciate it on a technical aspect. Plus it’s got a great cast as well that have appeared in a lot of films worth reacting too. Leonard DiCaprio you should see in Inception, and The Revenant. Kate Winslet Hanna in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Billy Zane for The Phantom, and Sniper. Bill Paxton for Twister. David Warner for Tron. Bernard Hill for The Ghost and the Darkness. Jonathan Hyde for Jumanji and Richie Rich. But probably the best Titanic movie you should watch is A Night to Remember. Excellent movie from the 50s that’s more historically accurate, and taken from accounts of the survivors.

You guys talk over so many important parts of movies that it's a miracle you know what's going on at all. I love your reactions/your opinions on the way you interpret films but discussing it over the movie itself doesn't do you or the viewers any good.

Great reaction as usual. I never got emotional when I saw it as a kid but watching it with your fresh eyes got me Or maybe I've just got old and soft lol

This story of Titanic.. everything is true apart from the Jack and Rose story... The men playing the violins kept playing until it went down. Molly is real. The boat builder. How they didn't fill the lifeboats up to capacity, they had a huge enquiry afterwards ect.. But it's such a great film, it's so a classic. You should watch how they made the film and all the research they did on it. Great reaction guys, love how Ash changed his mind, everytime Hannah started crying I did too 😄

Does anyone know what app for iPhone will let me synch the reaction to the movie? Please and thank you!!!

I’ve been waiting for you guys to react to this. Literally from the moment everyone starts panicking about the ship I ball my eyes out. 2 hours of crying and my head is going to explode. I bought the Patreon just for this!! ❤️

I loved this so much!! Please, please watch Fried Green Tomatoes too if you like Kathy Bates! Just wanted to say how much I identify with Hannah in this reaction because it just destroys me every time I watch this movie. The first time I watched it with my kids, my older daughter cried and kept saying "don't go Jack". It's become a saying in our home.

“if she kisses your forehead after, you did something right” LMAOOO this was so good day 12 of asking for avatar the last airbender!

Please Avatar and Avatar 2 next! Hannah will be in love!

I loved watching this reaction! By the way, a Nickelodeon was one of the first indoor exhibition spaces, where you could watch movies. Usually for the admission price of a nickel. It's that eras movie theatre! 😊

Aw I love you guys. Your gratitude to us is heartwarming

YOU MUST WATCH AVATAR 1 AND 2!!! I SCREAMED WHEN YOU SAID YALL HAVEN'T SEEN ONE OF CAMERON'S MOST RENOWNED MASTERPIECES!

To Ash's question, I don't think I would be able to get on the ship knowing I was gonna die. Even for all the money in the world. It would be hard to get past the suffering those people went through in very very cold water. Great reaction guys!!

You guys haven’t seen avatar?? K, so obviously you guys need to do it for the channel.

If you want to watch a movie with young Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio, "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" is one they both star in and arguably is Leo's best role ever

Imagine your favorite rock band have 3 out of 5 most sold songs in music history and you still haven't heard song that is at number one, with almost 3B dollars earned :)

Im new here thank to my boyfriend who give the subscribe like a present for christmas i always watch you're videos with him, im so glad im here watching this movie for like the 40 time but i enjoy every moment with you guys, Ash, you're hilarious and Hannah i adore you, thank you!

Amazing movie, amazing reaction. ..I always laugh a little at my girl choosing to spend eternity with dude she knew for a week rather than with her husband of 50 years & her children 😆 But in all seriousness, I don't actually think they'd both survive on the door. It's not about the physical size of the door it's more about the weight ... Even with something to hang onto, their weight combined would have sunken the door too far into the water and they'd both freeze to death. I also agree w Ash, they were in shock, not much critical thinking going on after that polar plunge from hell.

you guys should add Pearl Harbor movie to your list :) great reaction as always, thanks a lot...

Great reaction but now I cant stop thinking about what if a background character was written in running around doing everything Ash said he'd do...drop kicking a kid in the life boat, shooting people, pushing people off the ship, slapping people. It can only end one way...people get tired of him and leave him hog tied on the deck as the ship sinks. I can't stop laughing 😂

Great movie, always struggle to hold back tears. Oh BTW Theoden was king of Rohan not Gondor ;)

Welcome to the "You BOTH could have fit on the door!!!" club. Justice for Jack! btw The Abyss is my favorite Cameron film by far.

Anyone think rose was pregnant with jacks baby? I’ve always thought the granddaughter looks like Leo

Please please please watch avatar it’s so good

Thank you for the sweet message. So I'm in the USA and Titanic is not on Disney+ in our region. It is on Paramount+. To be honest, not looking forward to sitting through this for 3 hours since I feel like it's a slow burn and the ending pisses me off but I will do it because that's what I pay for. Lol

So a nickelodeon was a movie theatre, it's where the Charlie Chapman type of movies played, the whole silent movies with a piano playing. Called a nickelodeon cause it cost a nickel to attend the theatre.

Merry Christmas guys! I’m a YouTube subbie and joined here bc of this! Thank you for this gift today 💕 Hannah - I can relate to your emotions each time you watch this. Some say those who have such strong emotions about this tragedy is due to a past life connection to it. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ interesting to consider.

Another amazing reaction, Happy Christmas guys!! xx

The Heart of the Ocean diamond is fictional/made up for this movie: however, James Cameron took inspiration from the story of the Hope Diamond, which is another large blue diamond that (just like the movie diamond) was once owned by French King Louis XIV, and that was once cut in a heart shape. The Hope Diamond was later recut down to a smaller cushion cut shape--which is how it is today on display at the Smithsonian.

I just joined their patreon. I’m new to this so please be nice lol. We only can watch them react without any video of the movie???

First, Ash is wild for that “arch my back like the Titanic” comment 😂 Also, a nickelodeon was a type of early movie theatre. Not a kid-centric television network.

Ash right on with the symbolism, he told her to pull herself up. Love

for US folks, titanic is not on disney plus, i found it on paramount + tho

Come on you Spurs😒🎁💐🤍

Can you watch My girl? That movie is just the best and a classic

Merry Christmas guys

Love you guys as well can’t wait til Hannah watches the vampire diaries and ash have you watched “unleashed” with jet li banging action movie 💪🏽

What's eating Gilbert Grape, please you beautiful people 💜

For the beginning of the video, oils can actually cause more damage for some eczema/dry skin (from someone who had eczema as a child). Try Vaselines cocoa butter, they have a non greasy version which is 🤌🤌 if not try something called aqueous cream. It's like thick goop and it's recommended for people with eczema. If it's a scalp/dandruff issue, try head and shoulders for a few months (doesn't work right away) and if it doesn't help, you may need a prescription shampoo. Especially if it is fully psoriasis not just dry skin. Psoriasis is a more severe skin condition that requires topical treatments rather than over the counter stuff. Good luck, Merry Christmas!!! 💜💜

Never thought I'd watch Titanic on Christmas but let's go 😂🍿

You guys should now watch The Abyss. James Cameron is the dude..

A literal Christmas present, thanks to the both of you!

I haven't seen this film since childhood.

It’s on Paramount + so we’ll be watching and syncing up :-)

Now you need a dicaprio “palate cleanser”. Watch Gangs of New York.

I’m looking forward to the symbolism in this movie. Plus as someone from Belfast, I have to state the obvious; Titanic was built in Belfast, and it was absolutely in fine working order when it left Belfast.

I love you two, seriously both are some of the best reactors I’ve seen!!!love from California 🤙🏻🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS

Not me having to go to work in 10mins 😭 been waiting for this one! Happy holidays, guys!

Literally just refreshed hoping for it. Yay!
