Parasite | FULL LENGTH | MOVIE REACTION

Has ash seen snowpeircer?

YOU NEED TO WATCH FORGOTTEN!

Wow I subscribed just for this reaction but man it was hard to watch 😭 missing the whole ending was the cherry on the top 😂 But it's ok I like most of the reactions anyways

This movie won best picture at the OSCARS

The thing is, the ending he envisioned will never come to be, as he started by saying I have a plan. But as the movie showed us, making a plan means it will never happen that way due to life

lmao you guys completely missed the end. NON OF THAT HAPPENED lol

Fingers crossed this isn't being watched on Apple TV since they have different play speeds than any other streaming service

Let's go with Titanic!!!👍💙

This is the first foreign & asian film that won an oscar.

The scholar rock was said to bring wealth, which it did. But as you find out, the rock is a fake since it can be seen floating during the flood. That in turn symbolizes the wealth and prosperity it brought was also fake. No matter how resourceful they are, they can’t beat the system which separates the class. The same nice evening rain for the rich on top of the hill, causes immeasurable damage to the poor living below.

Hannah saying this is the film to study in film studies, yup. Started teaching it to my students next week

At the end there, the son was just explaining his "plan". He didn't actually get rich and free his father, and he probably never will.

Ash please watch City of God I know it didn’t win your poll, But I guarantee anyone who’s actually seen it voted for it! It’s the best film I’ve ever watched and I promise you’ll love it. Also it’s rated 25th on imdb👀

Thank you both for this post. Such a great film. It's the first film that exposed me to such great South Korean story-telling.

i have question Ash , why don't you put the movie clips in the reaction ?

I am not a fan of reading a movie but it was a good watch I will suggest Mel Brooks 1987 SPACEBALLS to go with your Star Wars I will also add for a Christmas movie that is one of the most popular is 1983 A CHRISTMAS STORY

Just got money guys guess where I decided to spend it on 💋💋 love u sm Ash and Hannah ❤️❤️❤️

I can't wait to watch this. Also, you should consider watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet. One of my favorite movies ever along with Lost in Translation with Bill Murray.

Amazing reaction guys, loved it. Trust you 2 to always pick up on the themes 🤝 Now that gates are open for foreign cinema, ‘City of God’ is one both of you would love

RIP Lee Sun-kyun. (The rich family dad) He was investigated by Police for drug use and then blackmailed by a nighclub owner and a former Korean actress for 300 mil won (215 000 USD) for hush money. While Lee Sun-kyun was investigated by police ,he killed himself in his car at park and few days after his death he was found innocent. Sorry for my English, tried my best.

You guys need to watch "Memories of murder" after this one, its made my the same director and the same lead actor (the dad in Parasite), it is imho the best Crime movie there is, it will completely scramble your mind maybe even more than Parasite and based on a true story its simply a masterpiece.

BANGIN’ reaction!!! I was so surprised by how much I loved this film as well. But for some reason I never realized the man in the basement was drinking from a baby bottle😂😂

It's funny Ash that you nailed it in one that the rock symbolized him clinging to false hope, but what you missed is that at the end, he let the rock go, but still kept the false hope that one day he could have the millions it would take to buy the house. It was a daydream. They will never afford the house.

The film does not criticize any particular group, such as the “evil poor” or the “evil rich.” Instead, it critiques the system—capitalism—which forces people to do whatever it takes to climb the social ladder. Capitalism compels individuals to see others in society as enemies and to remove those who stand in their way. This is especially evident in South Korea, where the gap between rich and poor is enormous. The wealth of the rich is built on the backs of the poor, but these individuals are not inherently evil—the system is. It’s literally a case of “don’t hate the player, hate the game.” It’s also fascinating to observe how people respond differently to the characters, depending on their own social class. How we judge the characters brilliantly reflects how capitalism has conditioned us to think in terms of groups rather than as a collective society. The poor hate or condemn the rich, and the rich do the same to the poor, with neither side showing empathy for the other. A sick system. A brilliant critique of capitalism. A masterpiece.

It's a daydream at the end, not real. It's a plan, not something that will actually happen.

one of the best movies I have ever seen. This was awesome to watch again with you guys.

Please please watch Snowpiercer (2013) after this. It was made by the same director as Parasite and it will blow your mind.

I was not expecting this Ash you’re such a legend man thank you!!

Oh damn no way. Was not expecting this reaction. Masterpiece of a film. Big ups let’s do this!

I just want to say that some of y'all need to o get off this page if you can't respect someone else's opinion about a movie without attacking or being violent or rude. I don't have to like the same bullshit you like...but it's ok if you like your bullshit I don't have a problem with it.

*it starts raining* omg stay calm…. stay fucking calm!! LOL

I didn't get this movie.. I couldn't make sense of it. Sure wish you guys would watch The Color Purple 1985. A real movie with real actors a real producer like Steven Spielberg

Korean film is just on another level!!! Another absolutely amazing pair of Korean movies is The Witch: Subversion and its sequel the Witch part 2: the other one. You will not be sorry!!!

Oh...HELL YEAH!

Holy shit a foreign film finally.. you know what to do next ash... We have been suggesting it for years 😆 "Oldboy" 😉 oh and also "RRR" and ALSO 😆 " Man From Nowhere " all are must watch.

Love your reactions! Is it possible for you guys to have a small blurred box for your reaction so it's easier to make sure we're following along? If not for the whole reaction than just in the beginning and anytime you have to pause and restart?

symbolisms m8

Oh shit. Now this is a treat.

FUUUUCKKKKKK YESSSSS!!!!!

Letssss go. You guys need to watch Oldboy
