If you want to learn more about Cassian Andor, there is an excellent series called Andor. Season 1 came out a year or two ago and Season 2 is coming in 2025.

7 and 8 aren’t too bad like a little below 1 and 2 but 9 is like what are we doing it’s a waste of time
You are missing out skipping the sequel films. The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi are fantastic. Rise of Skywalker is bad, but it doesn’t “ruin” anything. I strongly suggest you give them a watch, along with Solo, and skip all of the Disney+ shows.

nice reaction as always. I will say though Ash yes in terms of actors, Donnie Yen is kicking the collective asses of the Star Wars franchise. But in terms of characters ain't no way. Vader kicks his ass without the suit, let alone with it plus a lightsaber along with many other characters. Donnie's character is for sure force sensitive, but he is no Jedi. Also yes Stormtroopers are bad shots throughout the series but in the very first film they were missing on purpose so the main characters could get away and lead them
Honestly the Disney flicks are nowhere near as good as George Lucas's films, but I still kinda enjoy them. The hate some of them get, like the Last Jedi, is pretty unreal.
You guys should really check out Snowpiercer (2013).
The sequels hate is so dumb you guys shouldnt not watch the trilogy just because of grumpy people giving bs excuses as to why its bad. They are awesome

When it comes to watching Kenobi I would highly recommend not watching the actual show version but watch The Patterson Cut film version instead. Someone who worked for Disney I believe didnt like how Disney done the show and made his own version where he cut out all the unnecessary and cheesy scenes and added some sfx to scenes that were bland and boring and just spiced them up a bit. I hated the show even though it did have some good elements but I watched his 2 and half hour film version twice in a row because it was sooo much better. It will also be a lot easier for you to film.
Nooooo, don’t watch Obi-Wan! It’s so bad. It literally ruins Obi-Wan for no reason other than to just make him incompetent, which makes no sense. Mandalorian season 1&2 is fun and Andor is damn well written show.
Loved your reaction to this. In my honest opinion, if you’re going to do a reaction to the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series, don’t react to the actual series on Disney Plus. Look up something called The Patterson Cut. Kai Patterson is a talented filmmaker who has taken the Obi-Wan Series and edited it down from a 6-episode series that totals around 4 hours and 40 minutes, to a 2 and a half hour movie. In my personal opinion, he kept the good stuff and removed the bad while polishing the stuff that was kept. Highly recommended. No definitely skip the Obi Wan show, watch ANDOR!!! It shows how Cassian became a part of the rebellion and it's the highest rated show from them!!

You'll honestly probably have a good time with a few of the Disney Star Wars movies, Solo is pretty fun and if you're not a lifelong fan I can imagine even the sequel trilogy might be fun but as someone who has a very deep connection to Star Wars and its lore since childhood, it's very clear that with most projects Disney really doesn't understand this universe or respect it enough. So, do whatever you feel like, after all, this is your experience so if you have fun with all their movies and shows, who's gonna stop you :) Loved the reaction, I genuinely really like this movie and it was great to watch along with you both.
The ST are so bad, on a writing level. JJ even admitted to not knowing Rey’s origin during the filming of Raise of Skywalker. That’s the problem with mystery box story’s, they built around a foundation that’s sinking.

I can’t wait for the “Kennobi”series, I would love to see you guys start the last trilogy and see your opinions on it “Force Awakens” it’s a decent film with a lot of nostalgia and “Rise of Skywalker” is an ok film I think it has some cool concepts and also has call backs to the originals, there is also a huge surprise that you guys mentioned you’d like to see after watching the originals
I think the “Kennobi” miniseries is a great choice guys. Also “the Mandalorian” is a must. The “Andor” miniseries is excellent and takes the storytelling to another level. In terms of the movies. You should at least watch Episode 7 “The Force Awakens”. It has nostalgic value and it’s very entertaining.
Please, PLEASE watch Andor, it is honestly top 3 of all Star Wars for me .. the story, cinematography, sets, costumes, acting, ALL of it: 10/10.
Excellent movie. I’m a second generation Star Wars fan who grew up with the original unaltered trilogy on TV, and to me, Rouge One is the first Star Wars movie since those original three to give me that feeling like a kid again and say “That’s a Star Wars movie!”. It was a nice breath of fresh air to go for a spin off, and that third act is just amazing. Such an emotional roller coaster ride for me. Well I think you covered about all that’s good in the franchise, because believe me, you should stop right there, because it goes downhill after this.

I didn’t care much for the Obi Wan series but Andor is (no joke) one of the best television series I’ve ever seen. It’s the prequel to this movie and made by some of the same creators. It’s my all-time favorite Star Wars content, along with this film. Definitely don’t miss out on it! Also, the sequel films are not nearly as bad as many make it out to seem. They do not “ruin” the previous films. Yes, there are issues but they are still a fun watch with the amazing CGI, world-building, cinematography, music, etc. It’s always better to watch and form your own opinions. As a massive Star Wars fan/nerd, I still enjoy them.

The Mandalorian should only be watched for the first two seasons. Third season is such utter trash it my ruin the show for them. Kinda like GOT and its last two seasons
33:50 Those 2 were in the cantina in New Hope. The human looking one was the one who tried to start shit with Luke, telling him, "You just watch yourself, were wanted men. I have the death sentence on 12 systems." His buddy with the balls for a chin is the one that got his arm sliced off by Obi Wan's lightsaber. Also, another good series to watch after this is Andor. It's Cassian Andor's backstory.
Yesss guys! The best Star Wars movie in my opinion so far. The storyline, the way it connects with the originals, the characters, the bad ending that eventually leads to a happy one (but after another journey we already went through) - it has it all! Another epic reaction from you both. Best in the business FOR SURE. P.s - Yesterday was the shittiest day, took my cat to the hospital and he went for a surgery. Came back home sad and watched the film with you guys and it helped me so much to laugh and cry with you too along with the movie.

For a star wars movie I believe it's the best. The characters and the story are done so well. It's beautiful. And well yeah sad.

Cassian Andor has his own series "Andor" and it's one of the Greatest Star Wars content I've ever watched, it adds so much to the story and the world and gives a lot of inside to the Empire and the life in it

Andor is Cassians backstory. I believe it’s written by the same director, it’s the by far the best Star Wars Series. Same level of realism, highly recommend!
