this will be a FAQ to answer the most common questions.
What kind of game is The Tyrant?
The Tyrant is a sandbox game where you can play the way you want and aren’t tied to a linear story. You can decide yourself how you want to play it. You have to choose yourself which events you want to do and how the story progresses.
The day always repeats. Is this a bug?
The repeating day stands for the weekdays. The daily routine is always the same, but you can improve the events by collecting points (love or corruption, or by loosing relationship when you are in NTR mode) and get options to do more actions with the characters. (bigger update in version 0.3.5 for that).
The weekends will be implemented some time later.
Is there a story?
Yes, several events are tied to the story. But you can decide yourself how fast you progress or if you ignore the story completely. (Story events will be marked in the future, starting in version 0.3.5)
How can I enter the basement?
It will be possible in version 0.3.5 to enter the basement.
Why do I loose relationship points all the time?
This is to make the game harder and give you some challenge. It is still somewhat easy, but you can also change to a harder mode to get a real challenge.
It is a sandbox game so I could play forever?
Yes. But when you want to end the story, to see one of the possible endings you need to complete the last event of the story. (It will be marked so you can’t finish the game accidentally).
When the game will be done?
Planned release date is with version 1.0 which will be at least April 2019.

fix the dialogue and narration in the "taboo" version! if no plan to fix them please tell what is relation between sam and this family....why i as sam just not runaway and need to be there if i have no tied with them. ugh fck!
I can't get the second dates for Nicole or Cassandra to trigger no matter what. I also can't get the second basement event to trigger or the weekend event to buy more clothes for Nicole.

I love this game but i have one or two issues first is on the love path do i get to seduce alexis or is that not in the update same with corruption i get max stats and no deflowering her as for my second im not sure how to make the older one belong to the mc i know it is the curruption path but apart from that i do not know how
I played my friends copy of Tyrant and got an error when join the gang(getting access to the basement) File "game/v 0.3.5 - part 3.rpy", line 6, in <module> NameError: name 'gangmemberaccept' is not defined</module>

well, over a year, the project startet at the end of last year and considering that the game still has much content thats not yet implemented (and with more stuff also new balancing) its not that far of that it still goes for a year.... at least i like that he wants to keep his quality (or even wants to improve it) instead of rushing things at the cost of many bugs and quality issues.
i was wondering, being as i assume i know how both the relationship and love points work i.e: the higher the better, the lower then not so good( i assume these points also affect the ntr?), but how does the corruption of the girls work with the ntr, i.e: do the other men gain from the girls improved corruption, the same as the mc does or does it not matter for the ntr route?
I really like this game, is there a way to track corruption and love? Is there something I missed maybe?
This is the dumbest game I have played, why you designed it to repeat the same day over and over and nothing happens except you lose relationship points not matter what you do even if you have hundreds of love and corruption points, not to mention you can't do anything in this game. I am definitely cancelling my support for this game, there are a bunch of other games on Patreon where you can actually play the game and progress the game and it's not the same stupid day over and over and the fact that you have no hints on how to progress in this game is beyond frustrating and the walk through PDF doesn't help.
Relationship is a seperate stat that you need to raise or hold high, the love and corruption stats are only to choose the way you like to play with the girls. The repeating day stands for the workdays in a week and you can change their daily routine, like going somewhere else with someone or doing more other things with them. But the game is in an early state, so there aren't much option for this in the game yet, more will come with later updates (version 0.3.5 will have some new options) for example.
corruption and ntr are practically the same no? also can you explain me what is for the ntr free game? i don't get it is the same story without the events that are avoidable in the normal game and still get hints that ntr events are still happening you just don't see them...
No they aren't the same. With the love and corruption options you can change the girls appearance and their behaviour. NTR is a optional option for the player who like to play with that fetish. It's the same story for both ways to play (NTr on or off), but in NTR-off mode nothing with NTR will happen, no hints, nothing. Because you turned it off.
Regarding the goofy rules change on this site, keep an eye on Sponsorion.com. They are hopefully starting this spring and are totally okay with practically everything this site is not--the sole exception being kid stuff, naturally.
