Saturday and Sunday pics will be back from tomorrow! 🤩🤩🤩

Hello people! The Saturday and Sunday pics will be back starting tomorrow! 🤩🤩🤩 Honestly, I was going to start them today, but I’m currently working on some AI-related stuff, so I’d rather spend the whole day today to keep making progress on that field.

It’s been a month of incredible progress and results with AI (Too bad I can’t post almost anything I’ve done with AI since it’s full of hot spoilers šŸ”„šŸ„µ). Tomorrow I’ll post more detailed information and include photos from the new episode. šŸ˜‰ (I’ll try to post on Patreon, Subscribestar, and Steam)

Apart from that, for everyone on Discord, I posted a message there warning everyone to be careful with the links or invitations they click on or accept. This week I’ve received messages from three different people I know containing spam or malicious links (they aren’t actually sending the messages themselves—it’s a malicious program using their accounts; so it looks like someone you know is sending you a message, which makes you feel like it’s safe—but it’s not. If you click on it, boom!, your phone or computer could get infected).

The IoM Discord server has always been private, and it will remain so for the time being. This has been a way to filter out trolls and keyboard warriors and maintain a positive atmosphere on the server. People can’t post links or invitations on the server from day one—all of this helps protect the community. šŸ™‚

I’m super cautious about this, and I never click on links, but it can happen to any of us by mistake. Always check and be careful when clicking on links—and this doesn’t just apply to Discord; it applies to everything: emails, text messages, etc.

It’s unlikely to happen to me, but it’s not impossible. Since I’m the server admin, I could be an attractive target for spammers—if a direct message were sent from my account to everyone I know, a lot of people could fall into that trap, so, even if someone like me is the one sending a suspicious message with a link, don’t click on it. It’s super rare for me to suddenly send you something via direct message, especially if we haven’t had a direct conversation. At the very least, first ask what the link is about to see if the person responds before clicking it.

As the server administrator, my job is to inform everyone about this so you can protect your accounts and devices. šŸ™‚ In general, cybercrime continues to grow significantly online (and will keep doing so), It’s good for everyone to have a basic understanding of how to protect themselves. It’s a good idea to have antivirus software up to date, use/activate two-factor authentication wherever possible, avoid using the same passwords on different sites, and always be suspicious of links or invitations—no matter who sends them— and that will be a good start. šŸ˜‰

I will continue to do everything possible to keep the community and the server safe by deleting strange messages and spam, temporarily isolating users with infected devices, etc., but you must also do your part and protect your devices so that nothing bad happens. šŸ™‚

* In the ā€œannouncementsā€ channel on Discord, I posted a very brief security guide regarding this.

Remember the wise words of the famous philanthropist, Rick...

Rick "Be safe and use protection, my friends!"

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! šŸŗ

I got sign-in requests to my MS 2-step authenticator so I changed my password (I use a PW manager & generator) using my PC. I got new sign-in requests after I did this as well. Does this mean my PC is infected? I have anti malware software installed and I think I’m careful but I could’ve clicked a link to DHL or whatever without double-checking the URL. If I think my pc is infected but anti malware isn’t picking it up how do I clean up my pc? A link to a reliable diy like on Tom’s Hardware will be sufficient. Thanks Marci

Hello FĆlos! Even if that happens, it don't guarantee there is an infection, I will send you a DM in a moment to explain a little more about it. šŸ˜‰

It’s been a long time since we last saw Jessica, can’t wait to see her sister’s sequel. Very good work, in any case keep going like this, it’s a real pleasure.

Nice to have you back Marcia! Indeed alot of stuff is going on. But hey, as long as you're able to do what you love and doesn't step foot on anyone's toes. We're all good! Now IOM wise, keep it coming sir! Can't wait to see what you bring on the AI table lol.

The incoming animations that are coming in S2E4 are truly incredible Motoko 🤩, at least in my opinion, but I'm pretty sure the vast majority will agree! šŸ˜šŸ”„šŸ„µšŸ¤©
