Hello everyone, I'm writing today to share some quick news! 馃槈
1) I imagine you all know about what's happening with adult games and censorship. Various platforms have removed several adult games due to new restrictions, but so far, this has only affected IoM on Itch (IoM can no longer be found on the search of Itch, I hope it doesn't affect IoM on other platforms); I don't know how far these groups will go. Instead of focusing on real-world problems, they are trying to attack developers... One way or another, I don't plan on stopping the development of IoM. It's a project I've dedicated an inhuman amount of time to, simply because I love developing this game and the community around it. 馃檪

And I have to say something: Many IoM players are women, and the feedback and ideas that I receive from them are great and super useful. 馃ぉ馃ぉ馃ぉ Some of the ideas inside IoM are thanks to those amazing IoM gamer girls. 馃檹
2) I did my part and sent a very polite email to the credit card companies explaining that I think what they are doing is unfair. 馃檪 I really wrote in a very polite way because the person receiving the email is a normal person who probably has nothing to do with the decision, so I am just being nice and explaining my position. 馃檹
3) We developers need to become stronger, so I'm going to look for more developers to do cross-promotions. It's one way to fight against the censorship they want to impose on all of us. 馃槑馃槑馃槑 (In fact, I already have a cross-promo tomorrow with another developer 馃槈)
4) These 2 weeks have been incredibly productive, finally the main Bruce scene is done, 299 animations is the final number of animations (Only for this scene, the update has many more), I'm pretty sure that not this weekend, but next one, Saturday and Sunday pics will be back. 馃ぉ I need to add some coding to replay inside the game this scene (and add the best way to trigger it) that should be done this week and the next one I still have to finish a scene that is half-done and add the ending of the episode (Which will be a nice surprise with an usual kick-ass cliffhanger) 馃槈
5) In the unlikely event that they take down my page here or on Steam, remember that if you search for MarcialART on Google, you will find me. In fact, I think I'm all the results on the first page. 馃ぃ Also, remember to join the game's Discord server. I don't think anything will happen to IoM due to censorship, but I'd rather say it just in case. 馃槈
I've always followed every platform's policies to the letter, and I've never been warned or banned from any platform. I'm a good boy that read the rules and follow them 馃檪And I plan to keep doing so, Steam and Patreon are fair and amazing platforms, I will keep following Patreon rules, I will keep following Steam rules, but I will also raise my voice when stuff like this happens, something that threatens me as a developer, also threatens my fellow developers and of course it affect all the gaming community, so this is why I do this post, to say it loud and clear, even if it can put me in the focus of this groups who are trying to destroy what we have instead for doing something really useful in real life for this world.
I work alone and don't have any employees (although everyone knows that I've been looking for someone with animation skills to hire and work with me). However, there are other developers who have hired several people. If a developer who pays for an office and multiple employees loses their income, what happens? Sadly, they will have to lay off their staff and stop paying rent, which will cause unemployment and affect many families. If this happens on a small scale, imagine how many jobs could be lost in places like Patreon, Steam, or Itch (which is no longer showing adult games...). These groups that try to impose their policies and ways of thinking can cause a lot of damage. I trust that the big platforms will do the right thing and let us continue working and bringing entertainment and fun to people.

Cannot join discord, well cannot join via conventional means, your stuff on there was blocked for me. Which is sad as the discord page was a good chunk of the content we get, through engagement and so on, terrible here in the UK.
Hello overfiend! A user from the UK told me about, but it can be bypassed with a VPN, I know that the Opera browser has an integrated VPN on it, but honestly I haven't used it, just in case you want to try that out. 馃檪

VISA and Mastercard have no idea what they are doing to their business, they completely underestimate the sums that are spent on games like IoM. Their stocks have already been hit with a reset the last 6 months and all they are achieving is that platforms like Patreon and Steam will start accepting crypto and this will speed up the drop of revenue from credit card companies. Look at the stock price of Western Union. That will happen to Visa and Mastercard eventually, because people will cut out the expensive middle man without service who's now even trying to block them from buying what they want...
Hello Bazino! In fact, now you mention it, I was starting to look at adding a crypto option, just in case all this "movement" keeps going forward, but I doubt it. The players are putting a lot of pressure now, and the ones who will have to bend the knee are not the players; it will be the other side. 馃槈 The investors who invest in the payment processors just want to have a stable stock/company without surprises, and the investors do not like this kind of news. And about the group that is trying to impose this (Collective Shout) they are taking a beating from the gaming community. I honestly think and hope that this 'movement' will lose a lot of power, influence, and support.
This censorship politics are more then critical... I don't want to start a big discussion here though. I just want to thank you again for your transparency and info on those matters. I hope you can continue your future work on IoM without too many restrictions and wish you all the best!

Eu estava preocupado, quando voc锚 n茫o postou nada no ultimo fim de semana, por茅m vi que ficou online ate respondeu alguns post / comentarios, ent茫o pensei.. bom pelo menos ele esta vivo =)... mas fiquei preocupado mesmo assim, triste que essas comunidades de cancelamento est茫o preocupadas com coisas tao BANAIS enquanto outros GRAVES problemas est茫o aterrorizando nosso mundo... triste.. mas estamos com voce MARCIAL <3 <3 <3
N茫o h谩 nada com que se preocupar por aqui, trabalhando na IoM como sempre, sem parar! 馃ぉ E concordo plenamente consigo, com todas as coisas m谩s que acontecem na vida real, e esses pequenos grupos concentram-se em atacar os programadores... N茫o faz sentido... No entanto, nada vai parar a IoM!

So please let me know of any problems on Steam. That's where I play season 2 and have been dying for the next chapter. If I cannot get your product on Steam I will do what's needed here on patreon; or where ever you recommend.

Hi, marcialArt. I've read your post and I share your concerns. I understand than some extreme games, which incitate to rape and things like that, must be excluded from official posts, but there are people which take this political correct things too far away. Sometimes, these reach ridiculous levels. An example: in Hollywood, no matter how bad and evil was a woman, only another woman can hit her. I found ironical than most of these Hollowood directors, so "political corrects", alter harass or abuse of these same actress. And what to say about those woman which want to take out from the museums the art made by artists which had sex with minors or prostitutes? Because, if one wants only art made by perfect persons, i dsoubt any museum will stay open. I believe than art is art, no matter how were the artists which made it. In your game, one doesn't force the protagonist to nothing, and that's the key. Is a game, not reality. And i mantain than yours is one of the best (if not THE BEST of all) games I've ever played. You made a form of art, a great thing, nad not let anybody tell you other thing. And about the Steam question... let's expect we don't reach that level, okay? They've already rejected very good games, as UNI. And that's sad and stupid enough. Don't dispair! Fred.
Hello Frederic! 馃憢 I agree 100% that there are some lines that should not be crossed and there is content that must not be allowed, even if it's a video game designed only for adults, but like you just said, sometimes they try to take the political correct things to an extreme, and in other cases they try to force people to tell what's right and what's wrong. I see so many bad things IRL and I don't understand why some groups focus so hard on this thing with the video games, for example, that girl who sleeps with 1000 guys in one day... She even appears in the news worldwide, and that is real life, earning millions with the normal payment processors, isn't that more alarming than some fictional video games? 馃槄
