FC26: FIFA 16 Remastered [NEWS]

We're wrapping things up.

An enormous amount of work has gone into Career Mode to ensure that every club and every competition functions exactly as intended. Even the Argentine Apertura and Clausura formats have been fully restored.

The biggest achievement, however, is bringing back the original UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League formats, removing the UEFA Conference League, and restoring the classic FIFA World Cup qualification system across all confederations (Europe, the Americas, Asia, and more) for a 48-team World Cup.

And yes, all of this existed in FIFA 16 out of the box. The challenge was adapting it to FC26. A simple export-and-import approach results in an instant game crash. Instead, everything had to be rebuilt and carefully adapted by hand, with countless adjustments behind the scenes to make it work flawlessly in FC26.

For the player, it should all feel completely seamless.
