Go back to the old installation method?

In the last few days, some people have been writing to me: Bring back the old method of installing mods

Go back to the old installation method? Is this what you mean?

1. Download the mod archive.

2. Extract it using WinRAR (if you don't have WinRAR, you need to install it first).

3. Add the mod folder to your antivirus exclusions because it contains Live Editor.

4. Open the mod folder.

5. Find the Live Editor folder inside it.

6. Launch the game through Live Editor once to generate the required folders.

7. If you don't have a Live Editor subscription, you must purchase one separately (an additional $4 every month, completely unrelated to my mods).

8. Manually copy the league files into the correct Live Editor folders on your C: drive.

9. Open Mod Manager, make sure Live Editor is enabled, and click Launch.

10. Wait for Live Editor to start, then accept the warning that using Live Editor may result in your account being banned, and click OK every single time.

11. If you're lucky, everything will actually work on the first attempt.

12. Once you're in the main menu, press F9 to hide the Live Editor interface.

13. Start a new Career Mode and hope you did everything correctly, that no files were misplaced, no errors occurred, and all the added teams actually work.

And you seriously think this installation method is better? Don't make me laugh.

Now here's how my mods work with FIFAMAN App:

1. Open FIFAMAN App.

2. Click Play.

3. If you want, create a new Career Mode directly inside the app.

That's it.

No downloading Live Editor.

No $4 monthly Live Editor subscription.

No manually copying league files.

No antivirus exclusions.

No Mod Manager configuration.

No warning pop-ups about possible bans.

No complicated installation with dozens of confusing steps.

I built FIFAMAN App to deliver the same level of convenience as Steam or the EA App. Open the application, click Play, and enjoy the game.

So yes, I replaced a frustrating 13-step installation process with a simple one-click launcher. That's not a downgrade—that's exactly how modern software should work.

You're constantly updating things, but the squads in the Feux mod are still from January. Hardly any winter transfers. Will the squads be updated again?!

I respect FIFAMAN's work and effort, but to be honest, the new Launcher 1.4 is extremely limiting. At least for me, I can no longer start a player career. Even with both the Europa and Feux mod packs, Feux always says I need to buy it. Feux might have expired by now, but I tested it when it still worked. And in the career club selection screen in the Launcher, with the Europa mod, only two leagues are ever available to choose from, if the list even loads at all.

We've already fixed this issue. In FIFAMAN App 1.5, you can play Career Mode and choose any team. Enjoy the game!

When will the remaining leagues and teams be added to the app to automatically create careers from the library?

Would it be possible to offer both options? The new app is great for users who want a simple, one-click installation, but having the old manual download method available as well would be very helpful for advanced users. Many of us like to combine the European Mod/Feux Mod with gameplay, career, graphics, or other mods from different creators using FIFA Mod Manager (FMM), which isn't possible with the app alone. I think offering both methods would satisfy both types of users: those who prefer the simplicity of the app and those who enjoy building their own custom mod setups.

I was skeptical at first too, but the Fifaman app is really great! I find the Fifaman app stylish and, above all, really easy to use. Big kudos to the Fifaman app and thanks for the great work!

I personally love the new app. I have never actually had to manually move files before, as the European mod is the first mod I have ever used. I am glad of the fact that the app made it so easy for me, and that I could install everything without hassle for my first time.

Hi FIFAMAN, I'm subscribed to the European Mod Pass, and I have a question. I'd like to obtain the European Mod and Feux Mod files (compatible with the latest TU 1.6.3) as standalone ".fifamod"/".fbmod" files so I can use them with FIFA Mod Manager (FMM). The reason is that I want to combine your mods with gameplay and career mods from other creators, which isn't possible when using only the European Mod App. Is there any way to download the latest standalone versions of the European Mod and Feux Mod for TU 1.6.3 so they can be loaded through FMM? Thank you very much for your work!

I understand your determination, and I genuinely respect it. However, I hope you can also understand my perspective. The **.fbmod** format is an open standard. It was created many years ago, at a time when around 99% of the FC modding community distributed their work for free. Today, the situation has changed significantly. Many developers now earn money from their mods and naturally want to protect their work from unauthorized copying and redistribution. Over the years, many mod developers have repeatedly asked the developers of FIFA Editor Tool to introduce proper protection for **.fbmod** files. Unfortunately, those requests have never led to any meaningful changes. At the same time, we have seen Live Editor become a paid product. While it technically offers a 7-day free period, in practice it is almost equivalent to a permanently paid application. FC26 receives updates roughly twice a month, which means the free access windows are very limited before another update requires a new paid subscription. So why have the developers of these modding tools continued to ignore the requests of the modding community? The answer seems fairly straightforward: these tools generate a substantial amount of revenue. Their developers are reportedly earning tens of thousands of dollars every month.

The app doesn't work gives me 5 leagues to choose a team from for career yes definitely go back to the old method please its all becoming restricted so your paying for something that doesnt work the way it should see that some people dont have any issues but how is that fair to everyone that follows your work

I see you're a EUROPEAN MOD user. We're adding more leagues and teams every day. And if you log into the FIFAMAN App now, you'll see many more than just five leagues. In case you missed the news, I'll repeat: We'll add all the teams. It just takes a little time. Currently, we have 13 leagues to start your career in. Log into the FIFAMAN App and see for yourself (teams and leagues are added in real time; you don't need to update or install anything).
