Lore Time - Comic #3
Here is the third comic for lore December! I wanted to give more information about the glamor charm that Orion wears, as it is an important item for his character.
As this comic demonstrates, Orion’s true form is not human, and his human appearance is just a glamor, but it allows him to be raised by his human parents in the Human Realm.
However his existence there especially using the charm is highly problematic— which is why Rigel does not know the human known as Blue and the Monmagi known as Orion are actually the same person. Only Orion’s parents know the truth of Orion throughout his childhood.

Are Glamor charms such as these or specific types of charms (ie maybe enhanced strength or speed) only created by specific people? As in, were the Primrose family the only ones able to create something like this, or can any Fae do it if their magic is strong enough?
As far as anyone’s knowledge goes, Primrose herself was the only one who was able to make the Glamor charms, and no one else from the Nightshade family has created one before or after her death. Since information about the Fae is incredibly limited, no one knows if this was an ability all Fae have or was specific to Primrose alone, though many theorize the latter.
This full story is gonna make me cry, I just know it 😭😭🤲 the glamor charm idea is so unique though!! I love the design ✨
