Inktober Desk Setup
Seems like the majority of you wouldn't mind seeing my Inktober drawings :)
I'll batch post them so that they don't bog down my main feed but I think I have some pretty good stuff in there.
I originally wasn't planning to really show these as they're quite literally very random. I was using this time just before bed to just explore random ideas with the goal to not be afraid of creating something shitty and just try a bunch of different stuff.
I setup a desk actually next to my bed so I can just sit down and knock out a drawing just before going to sleep. It's been great actually, focusing this desk as an analog setup.
I actually have multiple work areas setup in my house, my iPad is setup on a little lap easel in the living room and just lives there. That way I can work on new artwork and game stuff while still hanging out with my GF and not just hiding in my office constantly. I have another analog desk setup in my office and a separate digital desk with my cintiq in my office, basically setup as a mini studio.
For those interested, here's my material list:
Pencils - Blackwing Pearl and Mitsubishi Uni
Dip Pen - Holder (Tachikawa Nib Holder) Nibs - Zebra G-Nibs
Brush Pen - Bimoji Fude Pen
Inks - Deleter Black #4
Markers - PrismaColor
Paper - Shitty Drawing Pad from Walmart
Lololol I've had this pad on my shelf for such a long time, it actually has some of the original Lyla's Curse drawings in it when I first started coming up with the game concepts. I was finally able to complete this sketchbook because of Inktober. So that made me feel pretty good. My goal is to start completing and using up all of the paper in all of the sketchbooks I have before buying any more. So this makes one down ^_^
