you need to change it from MM to M to use in MD. I had the same Problem.

I think it was a weird cloud file glitch because I think it’s working now

It won't recognize these avatar .obj files for some reason :( It must be a mac thing?

When I try to append the file with these obj files. I can't locate them. I click on the folder I put them in and there isn't any files in it. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

Hi Kirsten, "append" is used to import an item from a .blend file (blender file) You have to use "import"-> .obj, instead of "append"
