Scammer training material
I found this audio file on the PC of the group who sent me a fake order email (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG-KjCSt14k). It's almost identical to the scam that I encountered in that video, so I think it's been used to "train" scammers into how to run this kind of scam.... what language to use, when to pause and pretend to look up an order system etc.
I don't know the outcome of this scam - the audio cuts off, but I hope that she wasn't scammed.
Even if you don't listen to all of the audio (it's over 1 hour), I just want to highlight a few points in the audio which are particularly scary. From the 09:00 - 11:00 mark, the scammer really tries the scare tactics and starts the usual lies when he has remote access at the 21:40 - 22:35 mark.
The woman plainly doesn't understand what is happening 38:57 - 40:06 and the scammer takes full advantage.
The victim is plainly scared throughout the entire scam.
So if you were wondering how scammers train themselves up on running scams, it's probably through audio like this.

I listened to the entire hour and change recording and agree that anyone can be scammed, but gawdamn, a little bit of common sense and instinct goes a long way! Sheesh! When they change the prices and change the terms of the coverage, it’s suspect enough to reconsider their validity. But great find Mr. Browning. Definitely a good study guide.

oh , I just got to the bit where she is crying.. this is so painful,knowing she is interacting with the very person she is scared of .I am so disgusted with this "person" i wish karma was a real thing .i hope
If this is the training Audio , this scammer sounds hopeless, bad explanations ridiculous reasoning, badly worded poor timing. A person with half a brain cell, who is not "English second language" . could do so much more damage.
Just got a scammer trying to contact me via a Family members account in Messenger for a grant scam. They left a number and the email address to obtain the grant. If you’re interested and we passing this along to you so you can play with them – let me know.

Wow this just makes me reiterate in my head that as soon as I have more money I will up my tier level as high as I can afford just to help as many people get their money back as we can. I don't have the skills to personally stop any of these guys so I'm really glad for the opportunity to crowdfund with everyone. Thanks Jim you're a legend!
Btw, there is a phone support scammer on YT which has been irking me for a while. Interesting. It may be for Search Engine Optimization though rather than a scam in their own right. I think they do this to get higher up on Google's rankings. I've seen that before. If you create web pages, reddit notices, PDF files, images etc with "xxx support number", you'll climb up Google's rankings. Judging my the views of these YouTube pages, they couldn't rely on this alone for generating calls. Thanks for this though.

I blame Indias ineffectual police Depts who do almost nothing nor does the Indian Govt. if Jim can find them so can the Indian Govt but for some unknown reason they are not interested in stopping them. Older American are the typical victim and its maddening.
Hello Jim. It is great to communicate with you. I have been a computer security consultant and a Dr in cryptology. I spent most of my life working for the Royal Navy and the Ministry Of Defence. I have a great deal of admiration for the moral standards and level of self control you exercise. Sadly I am only able to pay a small monthly amount in as I am currently bed bound with spinal injuries and awaiting surgery. As I do not have my servers active I am unable to maintain an income currently. Yes - if find you do have to have a certain ruthless mindset to be a scammer. I don't know how most of them sleep at night. Desperation is one thing, but I believe most are not in this game because they're forced. :(
