Chapter 5 script is complete
Hey folks! Storm here with one of the updates I promised a couple of weeks ago.
As of about ten minutes ago I completed writing on chapter 5 of Heaven's Door.
At this point, we're waiting on Slockie to finish rendering and coding, then the game will go to our beta testers. The next announcement will be when that happens, and we'll include release dates at that point.
So, not much longer until you get the next chapter! I'm hoping you enjoy it, it's been a lot of fun to write.

I really enjoyed playing the game, but I wanted to report a bug I came across. I took the route where the MC firmly rejects Sylvani, so the two of them never develop any kind of relationship. However, after Sylvani’s accident at the end of Chapter 5, the MC and Sylvani call each other by their real names, even though they have never introduced themselves to each other. After the car accident, the MC should have still been calling her by her club alias, and Sylvani, when surprised by the MC’s house, should not have known his name.
Will this be the last chapter?
Nope. We aren't even halfway. Heaven's Door will be 12-15 chapters long.

There are no plans for a sequel to Bare Witness, though many of those characters will absolutely be appearing again at some point.
Another good update with that render count. Thank you AlterWorlds (Storm and Slockie). I am not a fan of slice of life but your AVNs of that theme always make it worth playing.

Will the beautiful transgender girl be included in this update?
I'm not sure if you mean Kennedy or Runa. Runa will be around a bit in this chapter, but we don't yet spend a lot of time with her. Both she and Kennedy will play a larger role in chapter 6.
