Why do you gain crown suspicion if you give the information to the crown?
In the previous mission (Neutral Mission 2) you will have given the location of a Belltower to a faction. This is information they want for themselves. In Mission 3, if you then recruit that Belltower they will now regard you with a little suspicion as you have taken something they wanted. Obviously you might still be willing to work with them but in their eyes you are still something of a rogue agent and now one with a deadly weapon, that they wanted.
