The Backstory
Desmond Bailey an elderly hard-working Jamaican is the head of the household. He is a soon-to-be-retired handyman, that will do anything for his stay-at-home wife Janice who enjoys cooking, cleaning, and for her boys and is on her journey for inner peace.
Akeem is their adult-aged son, the family thought he would become a handyman like his father so that they could open their own father and son business, but Akeem is more of a wannabe loverboy that seems focused on destroying the love lives of others and his own.
Desmond blames his wife for making their son a mama's boy that may never grow up. Deep down Akeem wants to make his dad's dream come true, and also settle down and give his mom some grandchildren.
