Neighbourhood hub for drinks and suspicious activity.

Fresh cuts out front… but rumour has it the back room might be running something else.

🧺 Laundromat
Where clothes get cleaned, and neighbourhood gossip gets aired out.

💵 Check Cashing Store
Payday loans, money orders, and financial decisions you may regret later.

🍗 Fried Chicken Spot
Arguably the best food in the entire neighbourhood.

🔧 Uncle Ray’s Auto Shop
Old-school mechanic with an attitude and a reputation for fixing anything… eventually.

🚇 Subway Station Entrance
The main connection between Halfway Heights and the rest of the city.
Most people use it to commute… others use it to disappear.

🏚️ Residential Units

Above the businesses are two small studio apartments, each telling its own story.

🚪 Studio Apartment #1 – Up For Eviction
The current tenant is behind on rent, the landlord has had enough, and the city may be stepping in soon.
Rumour around the block says the tenant might also be the local dealer operating in the area.

🏡 Studio Apartment #2 – Renovated Unit
Freshly renovated and now available for rent.
New floors, fresh paint, and the landlord swears the neighbourhood is “up and coming.”

🏕️ Halfway Heights Encampment

A small tent community tucked beneath the overpass where the residents have built their own version of home.

It’s not perfect… but it’s theirs.
