🥂🎉Happy New Year🥂🎉

Cheers Cousin!!!! I can't believe we officially made it to 2026. Growing up, 2026 seems so far away, but here we are.

I hope everyone had an amazing holiday, and I want to wish all the cousins a happy and prosperous new year.

I have a lot planned for this year. I want to challenge myself more and bring you even more MELANATED creations that you will enjoy.

Being able to inspire others with my builds has been amazing, and I am so glad that over the years I have inspired a couple. However, some of them took that inspiration to a whole new level and figured that instead of giving credit where credit is due, it's best to lurk in the bushes and copy everything. Now it's cool to have a carbon copy or lil mini me, but when it gets to the point where if I build, let's say for example a banquet hall (cough, cough), they build one too. Or another example, copying the way you promote your creation or try to use the format you have used when writing descriptions for content.

I have really started to see why people not only put things behind paywalls, but I'm starting to see why some only share content through email and make it like a scavenger hunt to get the content. And I'm starting to understand why some of these creators charge such high prices. Honestly, why put so much hard work into something if people are going to just come along and copy everything and act like it was their creative idea? Some of you may know I struggle daily with depression, and the good Lord knows the last thing I need is another carbon copy Sims son🙄. So I thought about not bringing this up and just leaving the Sims community once and for all, but the Sims is my escape, and I truly enjoy making and sharing, so we're just gon make a couple of changes with how things are shared and promoted.

All of us joined the sims community for one reason or the other, so in 2026 let's normalize being ourselves and not taking the joy outta the community of others.

I appreciate all the love and support, and hope you continue rocking with MELANATED GAMING for another year🫶🏽
