crimas announcement

Hi guys!

You may have noticed the leaks have been a bit less frequent, and I've missed this monthly poll as well - I'll be clarifying what's next here. Though, first...

Christmas!!! I've been willing to do bigger projects for the longest time, but I have not been able to commit, until now. I've always thought I'd need to transition to Blender, re-rig a lot of things, port builds over, a whole bunch of stuff... but I also wanted to mess around with another style of animation - something more like "stop motion".

This, of course, ends up taking a lot more time to refine it all. I might normalize SFW sections to have this style, because I do find it more flexible. I can exaggerate a lot more. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well! Club's being shown off a little bit, too :)

Soooo... Story stuff? 👀

CHRISTMAS PLANS - so, what's happening?

This is all currently STORYBOARDED. I wanted to get it out a week before Christmas, but personal matters didn't really allow me a lot of time for that. I hope to preview it as early as I can, but I might even have to get it on Christmas. .......hopefully not late................

It's not entirely SFW, this is just the first part. The following segment will involve Ellie and the infamous Anon, and more dialogue there as well. It'll likely be the same stuttery style for the SFW, but NSFW will continue to have the same smooth style I've always had (I feel that's a lot more visually pleasing).

The last segment will be an outro of everyone exchanging gifts to each other, in some photoshoot-style where a bunch of images are dropped on top of one another. I think that's cute 😊

🔴 Posting some extra screenshots of future builds in the Discord as well, all by Unseen!

There won't be voice acting. Having a variety of characters is a bit demanding, not knowing enough (and fitting) VAs to voice every character for this project and future ones, and time constraints makes it difficult. Unseen and I still have not fully settled on how they'll all be voiced. It'll likely be sound fonts (undertale-y), but we still have not hit the sweet spot. i am not having iris do the sans eh-eh-eh-eh-eh

THE EVERYTHING ELSE - okay, what about other content?

I did unintentionally leave the raffle winners unposted for a bit, but rest assured they'll be on their way. I put everything aside to focus on this Christmas thingie.

Monthly polls will have to be bi-monthly. I did them monthly for a while, then realized it's not really allowing me much time for things I might want to do myself. They might rotate between OCs and IPs. It was originally polled that I'd do a mix: [2 Main Cast] & [1 OC] & [1 IP], but IP tends to take a lot of the cake for now. I mean, who doesn't want to see ANTI getting RAILED

There's a chance I'll open up commissions down the line, and remake the commissions channel to shorten it massively. It's bloated. A lot. I know a lot of people have been asking me about it, and I've fixed the YCH issues I've been meaning to do (touching up some vital UVs). I want to present all the YCH example rigs in some way. Something a bit more cinematic, not just still renders.

I wrote a lot. Did I miss anything? Probably. Happy Holidays, see you soon!
