REQUESTING PLAY-TESTERS: "The Sorceress of the Spire" - Gamebook with Art by FapFapFap
I'm really excited about this game, which is the second collaboration between me and the spanking artist FapFapFap! We made a Christmas game together last year, and it was a BLAST, so we teamed up again to make a bigger one. I did the writing, and he made the art. Now we need playtesters to try it out!!!
This one is a fantasy adventure "Gamebook" -- if you ever read The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, it's sort of like that. You "roll" for different stats, and then you have to make choices to take you through the game. There are 10 different "game over" endings, plus the 1 "victory" ending, and they all have illustrations :)
The game is basically complete, and we're in the testing stage. We've already checked for bugs and we're able to find all the endings. But since both of us know all the secrets, we aren't sure how easy or hard it is.
We need people to playtest the game and let us know what they think and if they can find all of the endings. I think we made it sorta hard -- but I think that's part of why it's fun!! But what really matters is what YOU think :)

That might be it, just never had a run where I ended up in the cavern after getting the cloth. Waterskin helped me with the fire elemental, and I had assumed that the cloth would help with water, is that backwards based on what you're saying? Or just a typo in the post about the waterskin being used with the water elemental?
Sorry, I fucked up: the cloth is for the WATER golem, the waterskin is for the FIRE golem!
Managed to get all the endings without issue, and just to confirm, there's no save function yet, right? I hit "continue" on the title screen, and it returned an error, so if there's some sort of auto-save going on, it doesn't appear to be functional. Only real issue I had was when looking for endings, trying to get myself prepared by getting the magic sword often resulted in a loss/complete restart, so a save function would be super helpful for scenarios like that. Oh, and is there a way to do anything with the terrycloth? Seems like it should help in the fountain, but it doesn't work as-is, and I can't find a place to do anything with it like filling up the waterskin. Everything else was absolutely top-notch!
There's no save function yet, that's true! The terrycloth is there to help make the Fire Golem easier to defeat. So you did use the waterskin to beat the Water Golem? For the terrycloth, you have to go into cavern and soak it in oil. Thanks man, glad you like it!!!
