Help me bugtest HOUSE ON CHERRY BLUFF - WEEK 5!

This is present in the release version of week 5 but figured this thread was more appropriate. Hitting the “Go to Sleep” followed by the “Continue” option that appears in your bedroom at night from week 2 onwards doesn’t advance the day counter, giving you unlimited actions. I presume this is a bug rather than a dev tool but I could be wrong haha.

One more small bug- in the week 4 intro, when you get spanked by Amanda for not paying rent, her name shows up at the player's name. The exact text it shows up as is: "But (playername) does not look amused."

Oh, also. When you become friends with someone, the option to give them a gift is gone. Also, random related thought. Would be cool to expand the gifting system so that you could buy implements or special punishment modifiers like ginger root, then give it to someone and have them use it when they spank you.

going through week 3 now- a new scene with a bug has popped up, sometimes when doing a shift at the restaurant there's a scene where you can choose to count the tips honestly or not. There's no option to continue after making a choice, you all you can do is press end day or save.

Ok, so another batch of observations after going through Patch 6: > SUB Repeat scene with Grayce uses player's name in the aftermath instead of Grayce. > SUB Repeat scene with Elizabeth will play both the "Too sore" and normal scene at the same time. > SUB Repeat scene with Bella uses Player's name in places where Bella should be. > In Week 5 Elizabeth can be found in her room in the afternoon but it's treated as being anywhere else. > I was able to run into the same issue as we discovered a while ago, namely if due to random or scripted events character's stat raises from 9 to 10 without room visit, their friendship chain might break. Happened with Amanda right now. > There seems to be some kind of soreness system introduced now for SUB spankings and I am not sure how it measures. Possibly a different "power" for each girl's repeat spanking but usually I can trigger two of these in succession. Sometimes one before being stopped. > When talking to Mauve, you can select "Continue" before making a choice. > Regarding Bella's and Candice's scenes, I was unaware that Bella's is her 'spanking training' scene, I was able to find Candince's scene all good. I was stopped at 17 without any venue to progress further. Once again, phenomenal job for these! I was able to find all of the SUB spanking scenes and I like them a lot. I was wondering if they change base on your level of relationship.

Getting a spanking off Elizabeth when you ask her for a spanking goes straight through to her giving you a spanking without letting you choose the option. |hidden is shown instead followed by the rest of the conversation.

OK so here's a laundry list of observations, nitpicking, and bugs for what is otherwise a really fantastic game that I seriously enjoy playing: I'm not sure where you're going with the groceries subquest. On Day 1 I'm told to spend 40g on them but the option to buy doesn't come until after some meals. I've yet to discover the consequences for NOT restocking the kitchen. Cakes stop being available after hitting "10" with some of the girls. If the objective now is to hit "20", I for one would appreciate the bakery staying open. The meters tend to get wonky after hitting "10" in some cases. After hitting "10" with Bella, feeding the birds no longer awarded points. After hitting "10" with Grayce, watching tv no longer added points. A mild nitpick: when Grayce explains her panty-selling scheme, she claims "I sold all of mine. I'm commando (pics please)", but during the Repeatable dom scene, she's wearing them, and she wears boxer shorts for most of the story. When I tried the Repeatable Dom scene for Daphne, the "Make Submit" button was empty. I was bemused when I went into Week 2 with a SUB level of 8, but "asking" all seven roommates resulted in them being disgusted/appalled/dumbfounded by the request (ok, granted, I hadn't made it to "10' yet with any of them, but with a level of 8 I'd have thought at least one of them would have jumped at the chance). Really nitpicky nitpick: At the end of Week 4, Maeve gives the player 5000g which never gets added to the purse (granted, there's nothing to spend that money on anyway....). When you open the journal, the counters stay at 0/0 and pics from the Dom/Sub scene did not appear for most of the girls even though I'd spanked them in Weeks 3 and 4. On my last playthrough, I didn't get the Fiona machine finished until AFTER Week 5 started (and oddly not until after unlocking our date at the observatory) , which I'm pretty sure screwed up most of the Week 5 programs. And finally, a little hint please: where should I be looking for Candice's amulet?

I just added the repeatable SUB scenes in Update 6 -- try to find them!!

Okay, so according to the Google Form I put at the end of the game (THANK YOU to those of you who filled it out, btw!!!) the DATING and DOM scenes have been found for everyone except for Bella and Candice. I'd love if someone tried a playthrough focusing on either of them to see what you can find!!!

I tried playing though from the beginning. I got to the point where I wanted to strap Fiona into the machine for the test run and the program said it didn't exist. My game ended there.

I finally got using an old save by renaming the file to work, and I played through week 5. A couple things I noticed: Both Bella and Candice have an extra option in their repeatable spanking scenes, but neither of those buttons work. I'm assuming they're just not implemented yet. There's one conversation with Amanda where she talks about having assumed the player would be a girl by their voice over the phone, which doesn't make much sense if the player is in fact a girl. My chore for week 5 is automatically completed.

Re-played the game using this build (awesome, btw) romanced Fiona. Minor: Fiona is called "Candice" at one point during the date Bigger: this time playing I can't get the library portion of the secret admirer quest to run. Maybe worth noting is I romanced/am romancing Fiona and hit 19 points on Tuesday of that week. I had already completed the restaurant part of that quest but then the only scenes I could get to happen in the library after that had to do with asking Fiona out. I don't think I could get it to come up even after the date, though.

Hey everyone, I had been saying that the repeating Week 4 scene in the store was fixed but i actually just realized what was wrong with it. NOW it's solved (update 4), sorry about that!

A couple of Week 5 things I found. Once I see the "Clean up on Aisle Nine" spanking in Week 4, the store always replays the Daph/Liz scene even after I meet the secret admirer, so I can't buy any more cakes and I'm therefore essentially soft-locked out of Daph's friendship path. When I give Elizabeth a spanking, there is no "post-spanking" aftermath text, it's just her (very lovely) picture. When I give Grayce a spanking, it shows Amanda's "spanked" picture instead at the end.

Currently having an issue where I don't get paid for working at the restaurant

A simple thing, but after going on a date and sleeping with Bella, i woke up with Amanda. Some kinky shit happned that night, or the names are switched in the text of the morning after. Probably the second one.

I found a strange error, it appeared as early as Day 1 Week 1 but seemingly if you work a shift at restaurant with 5 moves left, you will not recieve any money but also the day will be stuck at zero moves until you end day manually or return home to any location. EDIT: Ok, I noticed what might be a very specific thing. If you complete a task that ends on a time where that task could no longer be attempted (aka afternoon into night etc.), you will not recieve a reward for the task. I was able to replicate it with Restaurant shift, TV watching with Grayce, Bird feeding with Bella and Oujia Reading with Candice... Not sure what could be the case here... It will severely limit the number of tasks to perform in a day. Example: Starting bird feeding with Bella with 5 moves left causes it to end on 3 moves left and display a message that it's too late to feed the birds. Edit 2: Treadmill workout and Library reading seem to be the only 2 things not affected. Edit 3: So far issue persists in Week 2.

Just checking: is everyone using the front flap of the journal to find the daily spanking scenes in Week 5? Like this comment if you found all of the "Power Trip" scenes!!

I've been meaning to give update 2 a playthrough but looks like I'm going to jump in on update 3 right away!

A couple more things I have come across. The inventory is not showing up. When talking to Candice there is no conversation. If you take the girls underwear you can no longer give them to grace.

a couple things: In week 4, I don't think I saw an option to do the chore at any point. It wasn't in the sidebar or the tv room. Maybe I accidentally skipped past an option one morning? But there should still be more than one opportunity to do it if so. I saw someone else mention this, but not doing the week 4 chore blocked further progression. In Fiona's repeatable spanking scene, after the second time I clicked continue the page was just showing the images and sound effects, no further text and no buttons to continue or end the spanking. Also, has anyone been able to use a past save file to load a newer version? I've tried a few times renaming the new file to match the old one, but it's never worked for me.

I currently have it so you have to be dating the characters to ask to spank them, but I think I’m going to change that. You’ll have to be FRIENDS with the characters and have a DOM level of at least 5. What do people think of that?

After looking at the journal at the end of week 4, trying to get a spanking by amanda by choosing the "Maybe we could just pretend" doesnt do anything, only a totally black page with only the return button working. Also a lot of the "request to give a spanking/ be spanked" interactions doesnt works, but i guess thats because we are still betatesting ^^. Great work as always!

When going through Sunday and paying the rent there are 2 options at the bottom, I know you mentioned not adding any sub spankings, but when you use the let's pretend option and continue to the next page there is nothing but the back arrow showing. Not even a continue or leave option to get out of the page. Also when you have completed the secret admirer quest and you go to the store after getting the journal you get the Daphne and Elizabeth spanking in the store.

Oh sweet! These always drop when I'm at work but I now know what's the first thing I'm doing when free... Replaying the whole thing for whichever time since I lost count xD

A "not sexy" item, if the protagonist works a restaurant shift with exactly five moves left (so when the shift is finished the move counter hits zero), it isn't generating any G revenue for that shift. Not sure if that's intended, but the narration makes it seem like it isn't. Otherwise, greatly enjoying thrashing these seven naughty girl bottoms!
