Help me bugtest HOUSE ON CHERRY BLUFF - WEEK 2!
I'm still working on Week 2 of The House on Cherry Bluff, but I'm almost done!!! I just need to write the "House Games" endings, which will take some time because there are a bunch -- you'll see what I mean :)
But I need your help. Week 2 is all about earning 10 points with at least one of the characters. There are tons of different ways to play, so rather than try to play-test them all by myself, I thought I'd let you guys give it a try. Many hands makes light work, right??
NOTE: If you play PAST the point of Friday night in Week 2, you'll start running into the stuff I'm half-finished writing. You can ignore everything after choosing a partner for the House Games!

Let me know if you run into bugs before Saturday of Week 2 (that's where this demo ends). I also want to be sure I haven't made things too hard, or too easy...and of course, if you like certain scenes or have ideas for future content, make sure to let me know.

Fixed Amanda's bedroom accidentally routing to the TV room
Fixed "no continue button" issue with the demon summoning
Fixed problem with Candice DOM option ("...Halloween...")
Fixed Amanda calling you Amanda in restaurant scene
Added exit to the "use treadmill" scene
Fixed "no continue button" error in Amanda's event path
Fixed error with secret code in Bella's event (SO sorry...)

Also, maybe not a bug but friendship quests have a tendency to repeat when you visit people in their rooms (at least initially)
I definitely don't want those events to repeat. That was happening with Fiona, but I just fixed it!
So I've run into a few things so far. It seems like friendship quests can get bugged if you get a +2 that puts you past 9. So if you start at 8, get a +2 and go straight to 10 it won't activate. This might have caused a cascading series of bugs for me when it happened with Amanda, because I ended up being stuck on day 1 of week 3.
Great catch, Flow -- you're right about the +2 bug. To get the friendship event, you've got to be at nine. The "groundhog day" problem on Day 1 of Week 3 is something slightly different, though, which I fixed in a different way. Just FYI, this is the WEEK 2 bugtest post. You don't need to repost or anything but if you find more Week 3 bugs make sure to put them on the more recent post :)
I can't continue at the obstacle course . There doesn't seem to be a prompt to continue.
Sorry, I've been working on the same game you've been bug-testing, so you're actually seeing stuff that I have HALF FINISHED. Everything after choosing a PARTNER on Friday night is still a WIP
Toward the end of week 2 when I click on Bella. After I meet with her I click the continue button which just takes me to a screen that says this These should be placed in a separate file, I think. with nothing to do afterwards
Uh-oh -- somebody didn't do their chores :) Lol. That's GOING to be the spanking scene you get for not doing your chores in Week 2, but it isn't ready yet -- that's the placeholder. I've been bugtesting in the same file I'm writing in, so that's why that's in there. It will be fixed soon!!!
Spoilers for Bella Running it through the Cypher I got... HOPE IN THE CHERRY TRCC Which didn't work. I then tried HOPE IN THE CHERRY TREE Also didn't work. I also tried both versions as one word with no results. I triple checked and I'm fairly certain I got my symbols right. Any idea where I'm going wrong?

The event with Amanda just stops after you have selected one of the three options.. nothing more after that!.. Can't even continue, you have to go back in time, and then not talk to her.

Bugtesting notes: 1. When talking to Candice for the first time, selecting the "What's your deal? It's not Halloween yet, y'know." option results in it turning to white text, and nothing else happening. 2. During the event where you earn some extra trust by helping Amanda, she calls you Amanda. 3. the button to Amanda's room leads to the Tv Room. 4. Not sure if this is a bug, but Amanda's event triggered at 9 trustworthiness instead of 10. I did clean the car beforehand, if that clears anything. 5. I bought multiple gifts, but only the carrot cake shows up. is there supposed to be only one slot for gifts, or is it a bug? I genuinely can't tell because the option to buy things at the store was available since week 1, but giving gifts is available at week 2. If collecting a bunch of gifts at week 1 to give to the girls at week 2 isn't supposed to be possible, then maybe the option to buy things during week 1 should be disabled. 6. Elizabeth's room has the header/banner of Daphne's room 7. Candice's event stops at her insinuating the player is being a baby, after which there is no option to continue. 8. Working out on the treadmill provides no option to exit at the end, this isn't a big problem with the map banner available, but it is there nonetheless. 9.Completed Bella's event, and I can't tell how you were supposed to solve that one with only KEYBOARD as a hint, so I had to resort to reading the source code. Could you explain how I was supposed to reach the conclusion? 10. Earning certain attributes is much harder than others. Reading books stops improving intellect one you reach 7. the yellow attribute is super unclear on how to improve. 11. I don't know how to raise the yellow attribute to trigger Daphne's event, or the pink attribute to trigger Grayce's event.
i was able to raise Grayce's attributes in week one by watch TV with her and Daphne's by giving the correct type of cake to the right roommate. the rest I ran into as well except the reading one it always worked for me and all the roommates events trigged at 9 for me except I couldn't trigger Amanda's due to her room taking me to the TV room.
I found that you can't enter Amanda's room it just takes you to the TV room when i click on it and the rest of the the scene with Candice & the demon scene doesn't load/continue after she says ("But I guess if you're gonna be a baby about it...") also noticed in week 1 when meeting Candice in the kitchen for the first time neither dialogue options work i click on them and they just gray out like I've selected them but it doesn't continue
When on the second floor the first picture takes you to the TV room not the bedroom
Which bedroom did you click on? Do you recall?
