Disappointed
Wow.
I don’t know where to begin.
Today was going to be a fun post. I’ve been edging all week, and I was going to do a little ramble for you guys as a “Friday Release with Mia”. It was something new and fun and…then I woke up to not so stellar news.
My YouTube channel has been removed. I don’t even know what to say. It’s crazy to me to think any of those videos could be labeled “sexually gratifying” when a lot of times I’m just crying or arguing.
I’m going to appeal…but I don’t know if that’ll do anything. It probably won’t, to be honest. First, my Reddit. Now this. The Reddit account was my own fault. But I’ve proved over and over again that it was an error in judgement on my part but no one actually reviews these appeals or request for review. It’s all automated now. Or it’s just ignored.
I imagine YouTube will be the same.
I’m disappointed. Sad. Hurt. And I don’t know…I guess I expected this to eventually happen. I had just hoped. I had hoped it wouldn’t.
I’m sorry. I don’t have anything else. I’m just sad. And annoyed. And it feels odd saying goodbye to a portion of my content. And the worst of it? I don’t have access to many of those audios anymore. So…that’s heartbreaking on its own.

Nooooo Mia I’m so Sorry this happened to you I’ve been hearing that this has been happening to some people but I’m so upset it happened to someone as sweet as you! Hopefully YouTube gives it back but whatever you decide to do I know it’ll be the right choice it sucks cause I just rewatched one of your asmr and if I knew this was gonna happen I would have cherished and watched more!

I know we still have the sfw patron twitter communities, but I also know how much YT in particular meant to you 💔 Hopefully you still have a means to reach out to those users who don't follow you elsewhere to let them know where they can still find you, and you can just continue to focus on building your communities in places with less nebulous/arbitrary moderation policies... Oh Mia I'm so sorry 😞 a bunch of creators got sniped over the last day or two, and it's so incredibly unfair. I really hope YouTube walks this one back, this happened a while back and they restored a bunch of channels claiming it was an AI error. I really really hope that's the case 😥

That is genuinely heartbreaking to hear. I hear this happen to so many creators on YouTube and it’s never fair. All we can do is hope that things change and can be restored. We are all very happy that you are able to give us an escape and some comfort from the stress of life.
I am so sorry YouTube is being so stupid with asmr content creators this past year it makes no sense all this stupid AI automated crap is ruining YouTube I am just so sorry I wish there was more we all could do to help
