The new season starts here.
This year, RODE’s New Season Mod has evolved into a bigger, more complete and more ambitious experience than ever before. It introduces major improvements, more 2026/27 content and a redesigned modular structure that makes the mod cleaner, easier to update and more compatible with other mods.
RODE’s 26/27 New Season Mod transforms EA SPORTS FC 26 into the 2026/27 season (or FC27) with updated squads, competitions, calendars, kits, clubs, graphics and much more.
Built as a complete seasonal overhaul, the mod brings the football world of 2026/27 into the game and continues to evolve through regular updates throughout the entire season.
📅 CAREER MODE STARTING IN 2026/27
Start a new Career Mode directly in the 2026/27 season with the correct starting year, updated squads, competitions and seasonal structure.
The Career Start 2026 system is fully integrated into the mod, creating a proper starting point for your new-season save.
Included in the RODE's 26/27 New Season Mod Main Mod.
🔄 2026/27 TRANSFERS, LOANS & MANAGERS
Play with updated squads featuring the latest 2026/27 transfers, loan deals, loan returns, shirt numbers and other real-world squad changes.
Managerial changes are also reflected in-game, with managers assigned to their new clubs for the 2026/27 season.
Squads continue to be updated regularly as new transfers and changes are confirmed.
Included through the RODE's 26/27 New Season Mod Squad File.
📈 PROMOTIONS, RELEGATIONS & NEW CLUBS
League structures are updated with the promotions and relegations of the 2026/27 season.
Newly promoted clubs missing from the original FC 26 database are also created and fully integrated into the game, including clubs such as York City and CE Sabadell.
These clubs are added with their squads, kits, logos and correct competition placement, allowing them to work naturally throughout the game.

Hundreds of new and updated kits from the 2026/27 season are included across clubs and competitions.

Included in the RODE's 26/27 New Season Mod New Kits Mod, with additional options available through the GK Variants add-on.

Domestic competitions feature their updated 2026/27 calendars and schedules, bringing the new season’s fixtures into Career Mode.
This creates a more authentic 2026/27 experience from the very beginning of your save.

🏆 UPDATED EUROPEAN COMPETITIONS & SUPER CUPS
European competitions are updated for the 2026/27 season, including the participating clubs and seasonal structures for the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League.
Updated European competition PLOTS, qualified teams, the UEFA Super Cup and domestic Super Cups are also included to accurately represent the new season.

🎨 NEW FC 27-INSPIRED THEME
A completely refreshed visual theme gives FC 26 a new-season look inspired by FC 27.
The updated experience includes new menu colors, backgrounds, loading elements, logos, main menu players and other graphical changes designed to make the entire game feel ready for the 2026/27 season.

👶 NEW PLAYERS, WONDERKIDS & YOUTH FACES
New players and some of the most exciting wonderkids missing from the original FC 26 database are created and fully integrated into the game.
They are added to their real clubs with updated player information, allowing them to appear naturally throughout Career Mode and other game modes.
Wonderkids and youth players also receive new and updated custom faces, expanding the number of young talents with authentic appearances.
New players are included through the RODE's 26/27 New Season Mod Squad File. Their faces are included in the RODE’s 26-27 New Season Mod New Wonderkids Faces Mod and the optional Other Youth Faces Add-on.
🔢 NEW & UPDATED COMPETITION NUMBER FONTS
New and updated kit fonts are included for clubs using different name and number styles in domestic and European competitions.
These fonts help recreate the real appearance of the 2026/27 kits across different tournaments.

The database and competition data are updated to properly represent the 2026/27 season.

Hi, I'm new to the world of mods (especially for FC), so I have a few questions to understand how things work. - Does this mod fix the issue with unlicensed Italian teams? - Can I still use the Live Editor with this mod? (I assume so, but I'm just checking to be sure.) - How accurate are the transfer market updates? Are all teams updated, or just certain leagues? - If I have saved squad files, can I use them with the "New Season" mod, or would that cause problems? - Finally (though I can guess the answer) does it explain how to install the mod?
