What's your biggest turn-off in hentai or porn games?

With over 400 votes, more than 80% of you prefers a custom self insert! Which is interesting, because I thought it would be closer because a lot of good games have named protagonist instead of a custom one🤔

Yeah I guess it does depend, a lot of you made the same point and I agree. Overall, it's true that a named protag will usually always have a better story 100%.

Well that's an interesting point, but I don't think you even need to have every possible interaction a person could think of to make a game fun. Maybe in the future we can have something like that with a fully simulated world huh.
Yeah a fully custom character with full dialogue voice acting is always a bit weird.

For me it's probably gore or mutilation... I mean I don't mind that in horror or action but in porn? Nah, I'm out. But if you do like them... we do not judge here and this is a safe place so feel free to share your thoughts!

I'll be more particular. NTR has several types... and I don't care for most of them... but I don't mind if I'm the bad guy and I'm doing the stealing. Like HandyMan Legends for example. I hate being the point of view of the guy long his girlfriend/wife. The point of View of Woman being corrupted I enjoy but it depends on how it's written. Can be one of those things I enjoy, then feel bad about later.
I will say NTR while done badly (which is 95% percent sadly) is the biggest for me. However it can have a really solid story of pulling a individual out of a bad situation. When it's MC or self insert getting thrown the boring same "Look at you! your a cuck haha" it just boils the blood and I'm like why are we (mc and ntr personal connection) even talking anymore? However a story beat about someone else getting ntr'd and MC is 3rd party that gets to make that person feel better I fuck with heavy.
Furry. Not all furry, but "you know it when you see it" furry. Somehow those guys make something technically not furry and it still triggers me.
Tentacles, animals and pee
Gore and Mutilation instantly takes me out if i'm like into the media, but personally, when it comes to porn games, is just no options ya know? I enjoy having a good story with branching content if its done well, and or I like some customization of like character A/B. I'm not saying Throw NTR or Futa or anything into everything, just make it stand out ya know? Bring something interesting to the table that stands out when compared to many others.
Vore is the best way to kill the game for me as I have dropped more games than I can remember just for that alone... Still disgusted by that dismantling game on steam
Also a main character female with a futa permanently kills the game for me if it's temporary I will get through it but I don't understand that fetish

There isn't one specific thing I’d say "no" to without thinking it over carefully first, but a definite deal-breaker for me is forced content that can't be disabled or at least bypassed. For instance, I really dislike incest in *hentai* games—the mere idea makes me pretty queasy—but if the game offers an option to shift the dynamic to something like "stepsister" or "stepmother" scenarios, I can accept it. Another thing would be gore; I’ve seen things online that were just way too much. And finally—I’m not sure if there’s a specific term for this—there’s the issue of a character accepting or shifting their personality to treat inhumane acts as if they were normal (please don't ask me to elaborate on this in the comments). ~E.
Number 1 is "Visual novel"; I like my video games to include the game part! Number 2 is "Free to play"; I immediately know it's too expensive, and I won't spend the money/time it's going to ask for.

In general cheating and rape especially if the girl then "falls" for the rapist. It's instant turn off I just can't bother to even try to watch/read the stuff. What's so wrong about simple sex and relationship that includes some love?

This is a bit of an odd one - I hate when evil wins. I don't mind then conquering throughout, but if they win in the end, I just feel bad.
Quite a bit I don't like. Non-con, NTR, armpit hair on girls, ugly bastard, and bodily functions (watersports, scat, flatulence, and vomiting) are the ones that spring to mind.
Probably the most "popular" fetish that turns me off is incest, I absolutely hate it, but the one that turns me off the worst is sounding/urethral insertion, which makes me feel physically ill to witness. I also really don't like any kind of wounding, blood or bodily waste. Another thing that turns me off but isn't a fetish I find disgusting is when characters have the same name as people I know IRL, especially if they're family members. Both my brothers have common names so I encounter this fairly often.
Perhaps an oddly shallow thing, but anything involving an ‘ugly bastard’ type of character. As in a character who is deliberately designed to look gross and unappealing in some way. This also extends to most unpleasant bodily function things, as in scat, watersports, farting and unpleasant B.O. and there is a difference between musk and B.O. Also general physical harm or abuse in any sense. If it’s in comic form anything with weird/overly fast/crappy pacing will throw me right out of the scenario.
Also anything involving characters I recognize as canonically children, especially if they are depicted in the canon art style. It’s less weird if they’re shown as aged up, but still throws me. No excuse for shota characters, as in characters designed to look like children but are technically of legal age. I’ll admit there’s a fine line between youthful, petite characters and shotas, but it’s one of those ‘you know it when you see it’ kind of things.
NTR is the biggest turnoff imaginable. I don't get how people can get off to emotional abuse and manipulation. Those who are into it have clearly never been in an actual toxic relationship, or they'd be singing a different tune. Another one is orgy content, or just in general multiple people. Not my kinda thing. I just don't care for the trope. At most FFM/FFF threesomes are tolerable but it kinda ends there.
Ntr. If I see the slightest hint of it, I'm dropping it. It could be the best game I have ever played in my life. But if there's ntr I'm not playing it ever again. I can, just barely, tolerate it if it's an optional feature in the game, or avoidable content. Otherwise? Nope.
