Kinda long but here we go (that’s what she said). Big singer songwriter album I gotta retro request and been a big part of my life the last few years: 1996 Sheryl Crow’s Self titled record. It’s blends alternative Rock with folk, Blues, country, Americana and Pop in a way that has aged beautifully, and Sheryl has been super influential for other songwriters who blend different sounds including Taylor swift, phoebe Bridgers, haim and Kacey Musgraves. It’s a legit 90s classic with huge hits and great deep cuts, and I think you guys Con and Kev will be pleasantly surprised by how much not only the songwriting hits, but also the production and recording that went into this from Crow. It’s a record that moves me every time and has kept me going through the last two years battling depression and a burnt out work/family lifestyle, and I hope you’ll take the time to consider giving this a listen, as it would be a honor to listen and experience it for the first time with you guys. Always grateful for all the fun and laughs over these past few years with this channel, and I hope you both are hanging in there! 💕 Much love from Virginia, Dylan
