So many people are mentioning the deluxe, which features what I think is the best song from Role Model, The Longest Goodbye. So, I think this is the perfect place to once again push my Laufey agenda... Please listen to Bewitched and A Matter of Time!!!

You probably already know this but Ian Fitchul who produces a lot of Kacey Musgrave’s work, wrote and produced on this album so the sound similarities make sense. He’s got a great style. And, of course, I adore Role Model.

Oh Kevin would lose it if he heard Lizzie. Just absolutely shoot ropes (tears and occasional ropes maybe). Need to see Kevin's reaction to Pushing it Down and Praying before I die.

This album is great* but I was particularly delighted to see you guys react to the Lizzy feature, it's one of the best songs of the album imo - the two POVs of the relationship sung by each of them a lovely touch. Connor please show Kevin her work yes!! her album five seconds flat is super fun and has so many gems on it, but her last album older is beautiful and will for sure have Kevin crying lol! I saw her on the Older tour and she and her band were fantastic, she covered a different Joni Mitchell song a night for the whole leg too - one of the most beautiful and underrated voices of the Gen Z artists. *edit to add: you guys would also LOVE the last last track of the deluxe version! The Longest Goodbye! it's so cute, the guitar work on it is stunning, feels and sounds like it's a few of them just crowded round a single mic, such a gorgeous way to end an album

I'm back to comment on lore. I know Kevin can get more into an artist after learning about them, so hi :) the whole album is about Tuckers first hearbreak. - He was in a very public relationship with Emma Chamberlain for three years. The song “Frances” is named after her - it’s her middle name. Overall, it feels almost like a direct callout, but it’s also such a vulnerable project - I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a man talk about a breakup in such a positive and accountable way. Thanks Kevin and Connor for this reaction! I could tell y'all enjoyed it :)
