Dad Reacts to slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)

you guys have to listen to lucy bedroque

must have him react to Rest In Bass

Kevin is OG Connor you’re not Unc until you hit 35

This is the best rage album IMO. The other people doing it kind of like this are Lucy Bedroque, Jane Remover, and Ezcodylee. Lucy and Cody were both on this album.

slayr been doing this since he was 14!!

Plz react to the original half blood too it’s even better than this

Nobody does it like him

Pls react to the original album🥹🥹

YESSS FINALLYYY

Unmusique by lucy bedroque plsss! its like Rage mixed with Hyperpop

LUCY PLEASE🫶🏼

I highly recommend checking out Lucy bedroque as well as checking out some of The Hellp work!! Different sounds but as you guys explain you want new and want a good listen and think would be a fun listen for the both of you

Please listen to a great chaos by Ken Carson, one of the best rage albums out there

ezcodylee (who has a feature on the original halfblood) does the guitar heavy rage sound really well on his new album STUNT 4 LIFE, def worth checking him out

yo if yall want something similar to flashout with the heavy metalness check out rascal 51 by bleood its about as heavy as you can get with rage

If you want similar artists check out Lucy Bedroque, either Unmusique or Fete de la vanille. Prettifun is also very similar as he produced racks

listen to unmusique by lucy bedroque

Gonna need a nine vicious reaction soon

I’m so glad yall enjoyed the album! One day you guys have to check out an album by DC THE DON. His most notable project is REBIRTH

Genuinely fun album!

you liked che? please do rest in bass :D

You have to check out fimiguerrero, len, and lancey foux’s collab project “conglomerate”

Gotta do the other half! Been loving this album lately, happy to see you guys check it out

Dude yall haaaaave to listen to the original half blood, I actually prefer it over bloodluxe and some of his best tracks on it, it’s so so good

it’s a bit of a different vibe, but maybe jane remover - revengeseekerz? it’s also in that rage/edm mix, with some guitar elements (she plays them while slayr is sent the guitar loops)

Oh hell no u guys kept pausing at each transition and the. skipped experienxing some of the transitions thats so sad

pausing on transition is a crime for this album that broke my heart

Lucy bedroque is also so fire

need a reaction to Oxis 8 by Oxis. it is a trippy, mystical, beautiful ride. one of the best fish in the ocean by far.

If you listen to the og tape definitely listen to the version on SoundCloud with all the tracks and original samples/transitions

If you guys loved Half Blood (BloodLuxe) hoping you guys will check out Lucy Bedroque!

He doesnt play the guitar himself, he gets sent guitar loops

Seeing how both of you reacted to this I think you would love Unmusique by Lucy Bedroque it’s genuinely my favorite album and such a fun listen

Loveeeeee

EZCODYLEE - Stunt 4 life if you enjoy the rock/rap combo

just chiming in to also say yall gotta do the rest soon 😎

would love to see you guys do a glaive album! either y'all or A bit of a mad one. I think you'll love it

Can we get a Matt Corby album thrown into the rotation please! Telluric, Rainbow Valley or his new album Tragic Magic ❤️

You’ve got to do the other half. Missing out on love blur, sloppy Joe, holding and the sky is a crime

This makes me so happy to see, if you guys would rather a lot of people have made full versions of half blood on YouTube with all the original tracks and transitions

W MF VIDEO I watched this in church

"what is aura-faming" going down in the Dad Reacts hall of fame

can we get some young thug it's been almost 2 years 😭 i feel like kevin will find it similar to don toliver how he originally only thought he was a feature artist but then heard his solo work and become a huge fan. only 1 thugger album on the history of the channel is crazy, pls check out either beautiful thugger girls or barter 6!

You guys NEED to listen to HalfBlood, its different than the deluxe, but I think its even better

no one is doing it like slayr. He's one of one tbh. Lucy Bedroque, who is featured has a really solid projects out. I really like the last few xaviersobased projects from a sonic perspective alone, but slayr is uniquely talented imo.

Paris Texas - They left me with the sword / gun if you want to hear some more rap with heavy punk / rock influence. Hilarious bars, epic production and a really fun double ep listen. Honestly can't believe you guys haven't covered them yet! They supported Tyler & Lil Yachty on all legs of the Chromakopia tour last year and are probably the most exciting thing in more conventional rap music right now.

I agree with everyone saying Paris Texas!! Super good fusion of hip hop and rock/punk stuff

i think what people meant by listen to “bloodluxe” is to listen to the spotify deluxe that has all the songs from the deluxe + all the original songs from halfblood

rollercoaster of emotions realizing the reaction is ending at the halfway mark 😭 like a bittersweet relationship that ended because the guy had to leave for a job across the world

WAIT IS THIS NOT THE WHOLE BLOODLUXE PROJECT 😭😭

W BURGER MUSIC!!!!

We need that Sahbabii reaction 🙏

my life is complete.

Jpegmafia has a lot of music with heavy rock guitar and some punk influence

Please react to HEARTWORMS - Glutton for punishment. Not sure if you already have but I think you could both love it

Ya'll gotta listen to BTS's new album, Mike WiLL Made-It, Ryan Tedder, Flume, and Tame Impala all helped produce! Lots of fun hip-hop bangers and psychedelic shoegazy rock that is really unique.

I need that original halfblood tape reaction sooner than soon so badly!!!

Definitely should do Sweet Trip - Velocity: Design: Comfort, and You Will Never Know Why.

If you are looking for more like grunge rap, you can always check out Paris Texas They Left Me With The Sword and/or MID AIR. Loved the video! So happy you guys enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to the mixtape!

please please please do They Left Me With The Sword & They Left Me With A Gun by Paris Texas. absolutely phenomenal ep’s , you won’t regret it one bit

Gaia 2 and HeavenTunes are really good aswell

PrettiFun is probably the closest thing, i'd start with FunHouse by him. He's also coproducer on racks!

Video like 6 or something of asking for Racing Mount Pleasant

I wouldn’t say there are others like him but a lot of people would probably say prettifun and Lucy bedroque are most similar to him. I’d recommend: Unmusique by Lucy bedroque Pretti by prettifun

Barter 6? Soon? This year? Please ?

YESSSS literally my favorite project I’ve heard this year

The closest artists to slayr would probably be Lucy bedroque, EZCodyLee, and Pretti Fun. Lucy has a lot of the edm elements while Cody has more rock influence. Prettifun is associated with slayr and has made plenty of music together.

Next step is Lucy bedroque

Highly recommend Circadia by Mammal Hands, it's a 3 piece Jazz Group but the musicianship and melody's are so frikken good. It just moves you

guys. if yall like the punk rock elements and crazy drums/guitar, you should check out ezcodylee's new project "STUNT 4 LIFE" He is a close collaborator with slayr and i think you guys would love it. Its a mix of rage, punk rock, and metal. It is like slayr level innovation but rock and punk. whole album transitions too

One step closer to Lucy bedroque

You gotta listen to Unmusique by Lucy Bedroque!

D a t a

Mumford and Sons - Prizefighter?

22:42, no one else is doing it like slayr. on twitter everyone calls him a “burger” and that his music is “burger music” but genuinely nobody else is doing it like him.

You asked who’s like Slayr, EZCODYLEE and Lucy Bedroque are the main two that come to my mind. I’m not as tapped in as others but Slayr definitely has his own sound and imo is doing it the best in that field

Ok I found the renaissance film on YouTube it’s not bad quality, but it’s not like the best either but you can still make out the people in the video. Search up: Beyonce’ - FILM RENAISSANCE FULL. (The video is by Kenzmaraj)

Please check out Beyoncé’s visual album Black Is King, the music and visuals are honestly incredible. Her album B’day orrr Everything Is Love with Jay-Z are also both so well made! Ariana Grande’s earlier albums are definitely worth a listen too, especially Dangerous Woman :)

can you guys pls react to SAWAYAMA by Rina Sawayama plsss🙏🙏🙏

THIS IS BETTER THAN WRESTLEMANIA 42!!

GUYS HOLY SHIT SLOW DOWN (DONT REALLY THO XX)

Genuinely just popped off seeing this Noti

Holy shittttt I was literally just listening to this album

Yesss finally

It’s like watching age of ultron without seeing avengers you need halfblood and bloodluxe

You guys have been on a legendary run for the chronically online folks

You should’ve did a big video with both

Thanks for all the recommendations - Kev

YESSSSSSS

FINALLY!!!!!!!

banger album lfg

YESSSSSS
