Dad Reacts to Doja Cat - Hot Pink

This is very much a different lane, but I'd love to see you guys react to the album Chasing Summer by SiR! Very west coast and I get the vibe that y'all could appreciate his work.

Planet her is awesome. Would love to hear that reaction! Just went back to it myself the other day, still really really cool and unique

loved this so much!! brought a smile to my face revisiting this album and watching you both enjoy it. I think you would both really enjoy Scarlet too!!

Wound love to see the rest of her albums!!

sorry for the incoming essay. got into an car accident last week. happened in the morning and had to work a full day after. was super stressful, super tiring. tried to figure out a tow situation but insurance was doing insurance things and it just didn’t happen. ended up driving my car home on the streets and it took about an hour and a half. i was bummed from the day and in desperate need of a smile. saw that this had been uploaded so i played it while driving. my mood slowly lifted, both from listening to an album from a more care free time in my life and listening to your guys’ commentary. during the grab my ass bit, i laughed so hard i almost got into another accident (joking). it was a much needed smile. long story short, car was deemed totaled a week later. i don’t usually get attached to material things but that car had been in my family for as long as i’ve been alive, it’d gotten me through college, and was the home for so many memories. it was a bit of a rough blow and i was bummed that that cars 25 year long tenure ended that way. but i’ll always associate this video with that last drive. at the end of a day filled with phone calls and distress, you guys gave me some much needed laughter and relief. cheers you guys. you do so much more for people than just react to music. ❤️

The reason Streets was so big was a combination of the pandemic quarantine and a massive tiktok trend called the silhouette challenge that used the song. Look it up if you're curious.

just watching you guys react to little tiny parts of scarlet got me so excited i need to a scarlet 2 claude reaction

LMAOOOO

This is probably THE album that defined a very important part of my teenage years. It brings so many good memories of being online or sneaking out with friends during the pandemic. Miss them a lot, hope they’re okay 💗

You guys having bro talk is absolutely endearing and HILARIOUS, love u guys so much

One thing to think about with streams is tiktok vitality. The numbers on Streets might be attributed to people just listening to the one part over and over again to make a tiktok.

Y’all should react to Medium Build: Country

You guys would loveeee old Fred again.

Please react to planet her!!!

I NEED MORE DOJA CAT CONTENT

Data - Tainy

would love to see the fame monster or born this way :)

FINALLY!

Never in a million years did I think Doja would become so big. She and Kitty Pryde were my introduction to rap back on 2014 soundcloud!! Looking back, Hot Pink, HIFN, and What's Your Pleasure were basically my lockdown soundtrack 😅

I love your videos so much and I really like all the different genres you guys are exploring. If you wanna do another Dance album, I highly encourage you to try "Fred again..". He is a musical genius and his Actual Life albums are so great.

Really appreciate your perspective Conner being my age and viewing albums like this or blurry face as landmarks. And the new Harry album seemed to connect with you in the same parts.

please im begging you look up her "streets" live performance hot pink session. really brings more life to the song. its amazing

oh y’all don’t remember the tiktok silhouette trend to Streets 🤣 you guys should do Planet Her!

Yessss!!!!!!!!!!!

bottom bitch truly one of the best songs on the album. we listened to it endlessly when this album came out

please react to Dangerous Woman or Sweetener by Ariana Grande!!

Christmas for bisexuals

PLEASE DO SOME LCD SOUNDSYSTEM! harry styles new album was inspired by seeing them live and their instrumentals, grooves and mixing are all top notch!

Doja Cat is South African and gets a ton of inspo from Afro music! So the Jamaican accent you heard was probably that. There’s a few songs on Scarlet like this: Disrespectful and Acknowledge Me feat The Joy. Beautiful acapella group from South Africa!

Love when you guys do one of my no skip albums 💕 also the end of this one was so fun lol more of that plz

Magdalene by FKA Twigs one day?

Is a Mercurial World by Magdalena Bay reaction coming ever?? its actually my favorite project of theirs, more than Imaginal disk

Streets is so big from Tiktok! Several viral video trends. 2020 was truly Dojas year. She was inescapable

A very funny reaction episode from you guys 😂😂😂

GAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

YESSS DOJAAA THIS IS GONNA BE AMAZINGG

i'm so excited for you guys to listen to Scarlet and Planet Her. Planet Her Deluxe is so fucking good, even if you guys don't react to the deluxe tracks on the channel i hope you listen on your own time. thank you guys for feeding us as always. can't wait for the next one!

Just chiming in on Streets being the biggest song on the album - it was because of TikTok!!! Streets blew up on TikTok in 2021 during this renaissance of older musicians like the Inkspots, Cab Calloway, Paul Anka, etc. being used in trends. Someone mixed Streets with Put Your Head On My Shoulder and Doja Cat released it as an official remix. It still has a lot of traction today.

Scarlet remains my favorite album from her. I hope you guys get to it one day

I saw the title and screamed, it’s gonna be an amazing day. Basically you guys have to react to every doja project now

takes me back to covid 🥹

You guys should react to ‘Take Me Apart’ by Kelela!! She’s like Doja Cat, FKA twigs, and Pinkpantheress combined!! Also amazing video!!
