Dad Reacts to Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR

omgg watching this back she loved the cure apparently ahahah

connor's jacket in this eats so bad

That Colonoscopy story was crazy Kevin, what a bad time to meet a fan 😂

This is an older video but for metal albums I would suggest listening to Pantera's album Cowboys from Hell

Would so love to see you guys react to REN any of his are so complex and layered. Hi Ren or Vincent’s tale as his 5 act work is amazing

Stranger in the alps PLEASE

Stranger in the Alps by Phoebe, the best singer songwriter album ever IMO

I think you were humming Red Hot Chili Peppers? lol

not for radio's melt !!!

no way drain gang/bladee & yung lean mention…

Bajillionth time asking you two to please reach to Weyes Blood- Titanic Rising 😭😭🥹

noah kahan - stick season (we’ll all be here forever) pleaseeeeee 🙏

stranger in the alps by phoebe!!!

loathe’s ‘i let it in…’ is a phenomenal metal record, easily one of my favourites from the first half of the 2020s

Would love to see a St. Vincent album! Which one is your favorite? I’ve been on an Actor kick with the strings.

Sleep Token album Take me back to eden

THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE I PRAYED FOR TIMES LIKE THIS

Thornhill album BODIES nu metal rec

Would love if you guys did a Ghost reaction on the channel! They fit the bill perfectly with what you were describing Kevin. They’re in that hard rock/ metal genre but the vocals are clear and they’re known for how catchy they are. Would recommend doing either their newest album skeleta or if you wanna go back a little bit I would say meliora!

Please do the album Older by lizzy.

Finally

why did kevin pant like that in the end 😭😭

Please do Paramore - Brand New Eyes

Deftones new album is good but they’re nu metal (and also their other albums are fab too)

so hyped for more olivia hopefully soon!

Would definitely love to see you guys check out dans older work from his band that disbanded (As Tall As Lions) he’s the producer that’s work with many artists that you’ve guys listened to such as Olivia Chappell roan and lot of others and helped co wrote and produced on a lot of their songs you can definitely see inspiration from his older work lyrically and vocally wise that he contributes to his work now!! In all I think it could be a fun listen for you guys specially for Kevin just based on you explaining the process of writing your own music definitely reminds me of the as tall as lions sound! And awesome video!!

I would love for you to react to some metal music! Maybe start off with some more modern stuff like Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, or if you want a lot of views on YouTube you need to do Sleep Token ;) (I'm not kidding, check the views on Sleep Token reactions) Edit: After hearing Kevin nerding out over drums, you gotta do Sleep Token. They have so tasteful drums.

I would love love love for you guys to do Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me. One of my fav albums ever. It’s not exactly metal, it’s like emo/post hardcore. But it gets extremely heavy vocally and instrumentally. Definitely give the intro track a spin, and you’ll see exactly why I recommend it. I love it to death (If you guys haven’t heard it already, of course. It’s very very popular)

I’d definitely recommend That’s the spirit by Bring me the horizon if you wanna get more clean vocals while still having more of that metal sound. It’s the album that pulled me more into metal so I personally find it a good starting point

for context on good 4 u, there was a big big debate when it hit the charts about whether she'd stolen melodies etc from Paramore's Misery Business. Hayley Williams wrote MB with her old bandmate Josh Farro like 20 years ago and as far as I know it wasn't actually Paramore themselves who got the credits added retroactively, I think it was just their management? Who they're not signed to anymore. personally I don't think the songs sound anything alike (at least not enough to warrant credits) and even as a huge paramore fan, I think the whole thing was kind of silly lol.

Day 13 of asking for Hi This Is Flume

Fakemink new EP worth a listen

Kevin, are you sure that they called you Gino in the locker room and not Gyno? Ginormous difference there 😂 Nah but I loved y’all’s reaction and comments on the music as usual!

If you're looking for Metal recommendations, I highly suggest You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To by Knocked Loose. It was released in 2024, and while it does feature harsh vocals, the vocalist Bryan uses a much higher register and the words he says can actually be understood lol. It's also one of the loudest albums I've ever heard, just based on the sheer amount of weight the guitars and drums carry

it sounded like yall were humming two doors down by Dolly Parton

As a Metal fan, I would would recommend you check out keep me fed by the warning. I would classify them closer to hard rock than metal. But that would probably be an easier tip toe into the genre. Also they are a 3 piece band of sisters from mexico.

i think you were humming fourfiveseconds

Mannequin pussy– I got heaven might be a good introduction to metal. It’s more along the lines of the turnstile albums more of a punky metal. Also, Deftones new album could be a great start also. If you wanna just dive straight into metal toxicity by system of a down might be the only choice.

They putting in overtime for the girlies this week lmao here for it tho

for a debut album this is incredible and already a classic! if you are ever looking for new bands to react to, I would love to see a reaction to the album Portal by Balu Brigada. They were the opening band for Twenty One Pilots and I really fell in love with their music when seeing them live there and last year they released their debut album.

Is it too early to call this a classic already?

banger after banger

wow thank you

Deja Vu punches me in the gut every time

you guys HAVE to react to lizzy mcalpine’s older and wiser. pushing it down and praying + spring into summer are so good

kevin singing along to all the songs as he’s seeing the lyrics for the first time is so relatable

okay the best metal album of 2025 is Lonely People with Power by Deafheaven, if you wanna check out new metal band or you can choose Poppy's I Disagree. it's a mix of heavy metal with pop, it's a bizarre combination which makes a very good reaction video!

32:12 Connor you need to safe proof the room dude we gotta protect that man and his noggin at all costs 😂

favorite crime and jealousy jealously are my favs! so glad yall did this, it truly is a classic breakup album

You guys should do a bring me the horizon record

1 step forward 3 steps back has the same piano chords as New Year’s Day by Taylor Swift. But I don’t think that answers your question lol

as a girl who loves music the beginning of this video meant so much to me

If you guys are looking for metal you have to check out early Mastodon, particularly Crack the Skye

Would love to see you guys listen to softscars by yeule. They just had a tiny desk concert last week that was incredible, its an incredibly unique mix of grunge, electronic, pop that would be right up you guys' alley.

Awesome!! I’d love to see you guys listen to Sunburn by Dominic Fike

Also you guys doing Octane? 👀👀👀☢️☢️

Wait I swear you did this already. Or did I just go back and listen to it myself after Guts

YESS OLIVIAA!! tyyy, please do sunburn by dominic fike 🤞🏽

the girls are getting fed and i’m here for it

Alright now that you’re up to date with Olivia’s albums you HAVE to do Dan Nigro’s old band, As Tall As Lions. Their self titled album is incredible

Back to back to back bangers from y’all. I can only hope Planet Her is next 🤞🙂‍↕️
