Dad Reacts to Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas

I‘d loooove to see you guys reacting to The Moon and the Melodies !!!!

Damn I thought it was cherry cola too

Is Connor always in the right ear and Kevin in middle right?

If you like the Cocteau Twins you should check out this band Ozean they only have one ep on Spotify but they are a small band from 1993 that have a very similar vibe. Beautiful songs

i think your dad would love the very synthy treasure album by cocteau twins, blue bell knoll has fraser doing very fun melodies and if you want to dissect actual lyrics by them four calander cafe club is sung in english but still keeps the cocteau twin sound :)

the lyrics are believed to be a combination of scottish gaelic, tongues, english and old english, and made up words

i hope this becomes the start of something that eventually ends in you both reacting to shoegaze

Idk if this is just me, but the audio balance of these is pretty off for me. I have to almost max out my volume to be able to have it not quiet, and your guys' voices get too loud for the music to be at a good volume.

I would love to see a reaction to “The Moon and the Melodies”. It really grew on me for the past year. So maybe make it a Patreon bonus thing or whatever if it wouldn’t track as well. Much love guys!

If i can recommend something - the new Kid Laroi album is amazing

Do Beach House please. My favorite band ever. You can start with Depression Cherry since it was the most digestible album. If not Bloom or Teenage Dream

we need the J. Cole reaction

speaking for all of the soundcloud era rap fans. you guys NEED to react to some trippie redd. “LIFE’S A TRIP” is probably the album i’d most recommend. insane production by notable producers such as diplo, murda beatz, honorable cnote, scott storch, and more. also trippie’s vocal range and emotional range on this album is top tier.

You should listen to negro swan by blood orange it’s an insane album

You should listen to loyle careers album hopefully he's a uk rapper very different to rappers such as essdeekid though

Omfg guys you’re on a streak! Love you

2016 was such a good year for music pls visit some albums from then for their 10 year!!

Please do Turnstile - Glow On <3

Would love for you guys to dive into Current Joys discography. Either starting at Wild heart or A different age is my recommendation

you should check out FLO - Access all Areas. insanely talented girl group with top notch production and vocals. AAA is a solid r&b/pop record from last year.

Gotta get more dominic fike yall

I am going to try to keep up with every video you guys put out this year! I have been going through a bit of a rough patch and your reactions are really helping me get through, so thank you! 🙏🏻 🫶🏻

We need the new $uicideboy$ yall missing out

certainly not the same music but if you're looking for something else shoegaze inspired gonna suggest again softscars by yeule! incredible combination of grunge, shoegaze, electronic music that i think you guys would love

Or some Slowdive

Please do Kiss Land

There are some The Weeknd connection to these guys by the way 😉

hey, german fellow here. “Fotze” is a vulgar term for female genitalia (like ‘cunt’), so the title essentially means “pussy politics.”

Suggesting XXX by Danny Brown! Surprised to find out y’all hadn’t reacted to that one

speaking of Elizabeth Fraser, her vocals on mezzanine by massive attack are amazing!!

are you guys talking about the swedish band "Dina ögon" (pronounced Deenuh er-gon)? im swedish and im trying to understand what you meant by nina ogden hahahaha

Best way to continue your historic run is to do barter 6

Please please please react to turn on the bright lights by interpol!!

2Hollis literally any record PLEASE!!!!

Rilo Kiley More Adventurous Spamming

Beach House next.... But also Rilo Riley's More Adventurous. I'm Gonna keep spamming till you give a mention !

we (me) are DYING for a lausse the cat reaction!!

hell yeah! one of my favorites of all time

Please do Bloom by Beach House!

Great reaction! One of my favorite albums! Definitely on an epic run! I would love to see Beach House- Bloom next!

+1 for historical run. I’ve been doing the “1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die” website (1001albumsgenerator) and this was one of my favorite from last year. I have a 90s corvette and this album with the roof off and the summer sunset was something special. Fotzepolitic is my favorite by far but the rest is really amazing. Fully committed to exploring the soundscape they’ve crafted on this album. Always requesting an 070 Shake album; especially after hearing Kevin enjoy this Petrichor would be great.

There’s a cover of cherry coloured funk by True Blue that you should check out. it gives me a deeper appreciation for the og. really beautiful, and it gives a modern feel to it and some (needed) clarity overall.

Fun fact: the lead singer Elizabeth Fraser and Jeff Buckley had a relationship, and made a song named "all flowers in time bend toward the sun", it is arguably one of the most romantic and emotional songs of all time, it's on YouTube. She also dedicated a song to Jeff Buckley in the album 'milk & kisses' named 'Rilkean heart' after their breakup.

Kevin’s hardcore Minecraft play-through coming soon

This is no longer a historical run, this is a generational runnn

My favourite dream pop album😭😭😭😍😍😍

Alvvays self titled or Blue Rev as others have said

BEACH HOUSE you say.... :DDDD

Words don't even describe how much this album means to me so it was really cool to see you guys react to it! I'm so glad you liked it Kevin. I would give just about anything to listen to HOLV for the first time again, but I will say it gets better with age so I hope you continue to enjoy it! I would be very interested to see you guys do The Moon and the Melodies next (or any other CT record). Much love :)

day 5 of BEGGING for Ghostholding - venturing it’s jane removers slacker rock project

Day 7 of asking for Hi This Flume

The set looks lovely

I saw that Connor

Amazing album & reaction. Fun fact: The Weeknd samples the first track on House of Balloons (The Knowing), and names a track on Thursday after this album (Heaven or Las Vegas)

Kevin saying the C word in german at 54:30 is crazy😂😂

The moon and the melodies next🙏

Amazing album 🙏

67 days

Treasure by CT should be later a channel reaction!

I’ve always heard “can my nuts hang”, thank you for the validation 🙏

Hey not sure if you guys heard but Mag Bay released a collection of new singles and they're all great. Would love to see you react to them

Echoing the top comment on the Wednesday Bleeds YouTube review, especially after this Cocteau Twins reaction - Blue Rev by Alvvays! It would be such a good follow up in the world of shoegazey sound. A fun upbeat way to dig a bit more into the sound before we inevitably get Loveless.

One step closer to mezzanine by massive attack

I never listen to this with proper headphones and hearing Connor so isolated in my right ear tripped me out. Banger pick tho keep it up

YESSSS <3 !! I love see the older New Wave music coming back. Super happy to see this album here, Cocteau Twins really deserve the attention. :)

Please head down more of these Shoegazey albums!

Historical run intact!

I’ve been begging for Kiss Land by The Weeknd but if this is the last reaction y’all ever do I’m satisfied. I’m so excited to watch this. Thank you 🙏🏾

Please tell me The Sundays are next

The Passionate Ones, please!

album choices continue to impress. (do vespertine and your streak can only continue🧌)

definitely continuing the historical run

have yous ever considered reacting to a britney album? if you decide to, i suggest blackout :)

HOLY SH! I think I’m running out of albums id love you guys to react to. Thank you again ❤️

yall are ABSOLUTELY on a historical run. 2026 is off to an incredible start. love yall <3

Funnily enough, I am watching this without supporting the patreon. I mean, I am a free subscriber. You have allowed me to watch and I am greatful. Love you guys and will definitely resubscribe in the future. Generational/Legendary run is definitely an understatement. You guys have reacted to some of the best music in the world and are very likeable guys. Keep up the good work. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Never saw this coming, but I love that it’s happening

Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires is so underrated! Glad to see Kevin giving it love.

you guys are COOKING thank you ❤️❤️😭😭

Whoooa nice.

Bro how do y’all keep cooking so hard

Oh my lord please do Beach House. If there was ever a time to smoke before a listening, it would be that 😭

kingggg krulleeeeee

YAYYYYY

gurl WHAT 😱🤘🏻

Manifesting Four-Calendar Café soon 🕯️🕯️🕯️

hi guys idk if you’ll end up seeing this comment but may you PLEASE react to “fete de la vanille” by lucy bedroque. it’s a short EP by a growing gen z artist that i think you guys will be able to appreciate. the lyrics have substance and it’s a self produced project with beautiful instrumentation, would love to see your reaction to it, much love

I feel honored to be a part of this audience and watch you really dig into some classic albums that I love. It’s such a treat

The way I exclaimed woah on my couch. Also, random question, how do I get onto the discord?

Truly one of the greatest albums of all time. Elizabeth Fraser’s vocals might be the best I’ve heard on any album (tied with Caroline Polachek’s Desire, I Want To Turn Into You) with every song feeling like you’re floating into another realm. Truly one of the most breathtakingly beautiful albums ever made. 10/10.

WE HAVE REACHED PEAK

Ooo yay can’t wait to watch this at work tomorrow! Also would love if you guys reacted to Melt by Not For Radio! It’s María from The María’s solo project and it’s really good.

And perhaps what is this?? I’m excited. Mates you should react to Bjork’s vespertine. I know she’s been featured on stuff here before but her albums are amazing. Vespertine is experimental, fresh, weird, intimate, and put out in ‘01! Love you guys

Wooooo! The year of shoegaze for sure. Can’t wait to watch this tn

this might just be the best notification I have ever received

pls listen to anything by Keo

just back to back omg

you guys have been cooking recently with the album picks

AH I LOVE YOU

yall cant miss recently

Hell yes!

YOOOOO
