Absolutely love this album, you guys should definitely do bryter later to see what he’s like with a few more instruments. I love how even though there’s more instruments it still has the same comforting feel, especially songs like northern sky and one of these things first
you guys would enjoy ode to quetzalcoatl by dave bixby
michael kiwanuka, he also has this same down to earth voice.
If you like this you should definitely listen to Van Morrison's Astral Week
yall should checkout Backstreet lovers
One of my favorite artists of all time. Crazy to think that I discovered him through that Jetta ad. My wife and I chose “Northern Sky” from Bryter Layter as our wedding song. I’m still extremely proud of that choice!
Can you react to Todos Los dias todo el dia by Latin mafia. It’s basically if frank ocean and James Blake made a Spanish the music is very experimental and incredible I barely know Spanish and I loved it. You and your dad would be blown away by the production. Hopefully you see this yall have a Merry Christmas. Thank you for the amazing content yall two put together for all of us
His second record, Bryter Layter, js gorgeous as well. Particularly Northern Sky.
Nick drakes reference to Pink moon is inevitable change, a gentle but unavoidable force (like death or life). “Pink moons gonna get you all”
Pink moon didn’t have 2 guitars !! Every track is just him and a single guitar
Saw this one and had to join the patreon!
Beautiful album. You should definitely check out John Martyn if you haven't already. London conversation has a similar vibe to Pink Moon at times but his later stuff gets super atmospheric. John wrote "Solid Air" to Nick Drake as they were friends
connor i need that sweater! where is it from???
If you guys are doing throwbacks. Please do some Dylan. Would be such a fun watch
All time great artist, you should do his other two albums aswell Five leaves left is my favorite I think

It’s literally Christmas time with these gifts of albums!
Would love to see yall check out Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
God I love this record so so much. Its such a treat. He really was a Van Gogh style of figure. Im glad Kevin got to hear it!
labi siffre would be awesome as well
I did not expect this at all! So stoked! But also my jaw was on the floor that y'all didn't recognize daydreaming. Please do yourself a favor and listen to her album Young, Gifted, and Black, even on your own time.
songs by adrianne lenker would be so awesome
Excited to watch! Perhaps some more Alex g will be coming soon? 😄
Cello Song by Nick Drake is genuinely one of my favorite songs ever
Awesome!!! Djo put me onto this album in one of his interviews a few weeks ago. also, wouldn’t mind another djo reaction haha
Elliott smith soon please!! 🤞
Hey Kevin and Conner, just wanted to say I’ve been watching your reactions for years, just recently started supporting the Patreon, and here to stay😁. I remember seeing the pink moon vinyl in the background of your vids for the first time and was soooo happy because Nick Drake is my favourite artist (along with Elliott smith who I see either/or in the corner!) anyways writing this high and happy ready to watch the reaction. You guys rock and hopefully if your dad hasn’t listened to Elliott yet, you can do some reactions. Also I’m a fellow Canadian, so much love from Ontario!
This album is way too sad for me to listen to consistently, but I hope we get more 70s and even 60s stuff in the near future
This is so amazing also wanted to throw in that nick drake was kind of notorious for alternate tuning as he was completely self thought and learned completely alone in his room I would say like 80% of is stuff is not a capo all insane tunings explaining the openness and looseness of the strings the guitar was really an extension of himself the little amount of people who got to see him play say he played and sang his songs differently every single time cause he was so fluid and just playing how he wanted to or felt in that moment there’s amazing stuff his mother and sister have said about him as Conor said not much footage besides photos and recordings but from what people have said it was an extension of himself
Thank you Jamie - Kev
Oh my god finally! I’m so psyched to get home and watch this
Dude… my grandad had sustained a horrible stroke back in 2022 and me and my parents took turns caring for him in his house everyday of the week up until September of this year when he passed :’( and I showed my grandad this album and I always loved to play it on the speaker whenever it was a rainy day and it was just me and him hanging around and he absolutely loved “place to be”, the calmness of it compared to the Lynyrd, ZZ, and cream he was so used too just let him relax everytime man, & seeing yall run it almost makes me cry, I was pretty sure Kevin would’ve already heard this but seeing you share it to your family like I did… thank you guys, big supporter for a long time and just know you guys are awesome
❤️
Dawg I just listened to this for the first time. Love the lyrics on “road” especially
I’ve never listened to this album. Kinda been waiting for a good moment. Never realized how short it was. Super excited.
You guys are on an incredible run rn.
First Grace now pink moon! Merry Christmas 🎄
